Newt Geiszler - I'll match form, so w/e u wanna do brosef
[Today, like many other days, is relatively nice in terms of weather. Newt has decided that today, apparently, is a good day for construction, which would explain the toolbox, the hatchet, and the pile of large coconut tree leaves that he's been gathering since this morning. Granted, he's only managed about ten, but he's working on it, okay? In addition, Newt's leather jacket has been turned inside-out and curled and twisted to form some kind of nest around two eggs, the only two that survived the trek up and down the mountain. They're currently sitting just in the sun, nestled safely in Newt's jacket as he works.
He's actually just set two more leaves down onto the pile, removing his glasses to wipe at his forehead. He's stripped down to his pants and glasses and nothing else, and despite living in this place for a month and a half, still hasn't managed to tan much. He's certainly spouted significantly more freckles--what if it can be seen, mostly on his back--and some red cheeks, but no sign of a tan just yet. But all of his tattoos are very much on display.
Feel free to come and say hi and bother him or whatever]
B - At the Beach
[Newt's taken to looping around the islet at least once daily. You'll find him near outcroppings or with his feet just in the water, picking up anything of interest and pocketing it, or poking it with a convenient stick or butterfly knife, depending on the situation. At current, he seems to have found a couple what looks like whole scallop shells, which he's fishing gingerly out of the water before retreating. Or, well, pseudo-scallops. Maybe. There's something off about them, which causes Newt to frown, tracing fingers over the grooves in the shell. Or perhaps he's just passing by your current abode.]
C - Bridge
[Today, Newt is studying one of the two rope bridges that lead to the next island over. He has his arms folded over his tattooed chest, eyes narrowed as he considers it] ....I feel like this could be repaired, and then it'd be a lot safer or something... [who is he talking to??? Who knows, it's a mystery. Maybe only to himself.]

B for Beach
It's not enough to patch the roof, lord not even close to covered a single square foot, but it's a start. If Guzma can at least gather the materials sooner rather than later, he might be able to get a proper roof done in a few months. ...Ugh, even that seems too long, but maybe he can con someone into helping. It's easier than waiting around for enough Wish Power or whatever the hell and leaving it up to that salty rabbit. They already partially screwed them over with these rundown buildings, so...Guzma's not entirely ready to trust them with a big job like this.
Golisopod notices Newt, but considering his Trainer is still heading back to their islet, he continues to follow diligently. Guzma really wants to drop off this first load of supplies then head back out. He also really needs to get some things to maybe make a fire pit too. Roasting fishies and other edible prey animals sounds lovely. Heck, even grilled veggies and fruits would be lovely...and his pokemon need to eat, too.]

A - coo-coo for coconuts
Except those fibers make good rope, good thatching, and sometimes, good kindling. Hey, with those leaves to cover a layer of thatching like that, their cottage might even manage to remain somewhat cool in the heat, warm in the cold, and stand up to rain to boot.
But Sans probably has nothing to do with it, he just happens to have half a split-open coconut in one hand, shoving it practically under Newt's nose because, goddamn, the guy gets lost in his own world if he's left to it, huh? ]

Karamatsu - Matching formats all the way my guys
[Now that they have a home to call their very own (even if it isn't...the most grand of places. Or even entirely standing, at that) the Matsunos are doing what they do best- even less than what they'd done back at the Ruins, and certainly nothing that helps anyone out.
For Karamatsu, it's a lot less time needed to worry over his brothers, and a lot more time to refocus on the more important things- namely, his guitar. Treating it is... impossible, out here. He's dried it out, the wood mostly saved, reattached the strings
And that's it, really.
The humidity is starting to take it's toll on the instrument. There's no much he can do about that.
Except try and tune the poor thing, letting out a discordant note now and again that has even him cringing. His baby...]
2. And Welcome to Jackass.
Okay so perhaps there's some effort that needs to be made here. The roof is full of holes, something all three brothers resolutely ignore... some better than others. For Karamatsu, the inconvenience of a skylight right above his place of rest means rising far too early in the morning, inconvenienced entirely as his brothers take another five hours to wake themselves, and the rest of the world is quiet for... usually another one or two.
Time to fix that. A NEET needs their sixteen hours away from reality!
Which is why, on this fine, sunny day, Karamatsu can be found on the roof. He obviously has no idea what he's doing, stacking palm fronds on top of each other in a crisscross fashion- which is fine, and absolutely won't blow away with the first gust of strong wind.
No really help this fool.
2.
[Thankfully, Muffet is standing right here, having paused on her way to the mana pool when she caught sight of Karamatsu's attempts at roof repair.]
Hello, dearie. Would you like some help with that?

Guzma was actually just out to do much the same thing as Karamatsu - gather materials to patch the pitiful excuse of a roof. Right now, the tarp he had hung up with help from Ariados' silk to keel it secure was doing its job keeping most of the rain out, but it was only a temporary fix, and not nearly enough to make do for the future. He has a design in mind - an old Alolan hale, and if he's learned anything from his history lessons way the heck back...all the resources to make one should be right on this island as renewable and plentiful resources.
But hoho, he has to pause to watch this tirefire in action. Finding a shady spot under a small palm tree, Guzma flicks his sunglasses over his eyes and leans his back on the trunk, putting his pack down next to him and pulling out a mango he found and his knife, cutting into the fruit as he observes with a curl of his lips.
No, really, do continue.]

It's weird, how a single dissonant note can really take a guy back for a minute or two.
Anyway, Sans figures he might as well investigate, what he doesn't really expect to find is Itchy Mats.
Wait -- no, there are... differences, once he looks again -- his hair isn't bedraggled and unkempt, there's no familiar slouch so much as the purposeful one where he's bent over his instrument. Even though Sans finds that most humans look alike, the resemblance here is uncanny. The skeleton speaks: ]
I think it's busted, pal. Might wanna ask the rabbit for a new one.

[... until he starts releasing those painful twangs. Then Ichimatsu is huffing and looking away in earnest, an irate line settled between his patchy eyebrows.]
[To his credit, he manages to control his temper through least a good five minutes of discordant strumming. But eventually, his pool of patience runs out. At a particularly loud and garbled note, Ichimatsu shoots to his feet and stalks over to his brother. Without preamble or warning, he attempts to snatch it right out of Karamatsu's hands.]

clementine / ota
Except maybe she doesn't seem so alone. Clementine has a walkie talkie that she's holding close to her mouth, and anyone who isn't too loud approaching her may be able to hear her talking quietly to it. ]
- but I promise it wasn't- I mean, we were prepared for any dangerous stuff. And nothing bad happened. We found these birds nests - they kept trying to steal things, but they they were kind of neat. We had to take their eggs and stuff though, for food.
no subject
Now you can really tell somebody to suck an egg.
[ Except, you know. It's a voice that's too close for having no sound to really preface it.
If she wheels around to look, Sans has backed off a few long strides away, grinning expectantly at the child, hands in the pockets of his galaxy print hoodie. Rocking back on his heels a little, causing the LEDs in the soles of his ridiculous pair of velcro-strapped sneakers to blink in a kaleidoscope of colors.
Totally what one expects to see. A walking, talking skeleton who sneaks up on kids trying to have a private call to nowhere. ]

Osomatsu Matsuno - will match forms
he hasn't really been liking his stay on the island. he wants alcohol! he wants cigarettes! he wants porn! but even more than that, he wants his mother's cooking. living off of rice and weird meat day in and day out... that was fine, and he was surviving. but he wasn't living. god, he'd kill for a pachinko machine right about now.
after a while, Osomatsu gets sick of sitting around. you may see him stand up and toss down his line in a huff. ah, he's sulking, probably, throwing a tantrum] This place is driving me crazy! I'm bored out of my skull!
