Your beloved? [ the look softens as she comes to sit near him and his sweet, wooden companion. ] She's beautiful...I'm sorry that she's unhappy. Is there anything that could help her feel better?
[ not accustomed to musical instrument needs, she thinks about anything that could dry out a wet piece of well-loved wood...but she's not an expert in that area either. Maybe some towels? But where do you find towels on an uninhabited tropical island? ]

Ah. If I had a case...dehumidifier... some polish... perhaps it wouldn't be too late to save her.
