June Event: Chaos, Chaos!
JUNE EVENT: CHAOS, CHAOS!
Who: Anyone and everyone!
What: It's just a little chaos...

Where: Primarily Io, though also across Ensō and the islets if applicable
Warnings: Violence, possible body horror, potential anxiety and dysmorphia associated with body-swapping

Who Keeps Spinning the World Around?
The morning of June 17th, you'll probably notice things are amiss rather quickly. Your hands aren't your hands, or you're no longer in a squishy human flesh shape, or worse. Maybe your Lawful Good persona has plummeted into an outright Chaotic Evil one. Or maybe you wake up with a brand new power in your hands! Whatever the case is, no explanation is going to be immediately forthcoming, from Eleu or the Storyteller or anyone else. You'll have to figure out this mess on your own.
Adjust to your new circumstances, master your new powers, and do what you can to make it through the next few days...because they're going to be some very interesting ones, for certain.

Catch Me If You Can!
Come June 20th, whether you're back to normal selves or not, Eleu has a job for you. A request, even. They're going to need your help to take care of this little problem and put a stop to all this absolute madness.
Those interested in helping can get in touch with any of the honeybees buzzing anxiously about Io, and they will redirect you to the Honeycomb, which has now been provided with several barrels of Honeycomb Sledgehammers for your use. You don't have to take one if you don't need it, but they make a very powerful weapon. Additionally, Eleu will take care to assure that, in exchange for your help, you may keep the Sledgehammer, if you so choose.
Those interested in assisting may access our boss fight at its top-level below. This is a single thread with no order, but anyone may participate, regardless of their current state of being. Don't worry about how you contribute, or tag speed. Anyone who's concerned about being left out is welcome to reach out to us to handwave or backtag their involvement, if necessary!
The Clown Box is going to put up a fight, though. And it's not going to be pretty.

[Because no matter what he says about how it doesn't really hurt his expression, his voice, his posture are saying otherwise. She can't get closer, refuses to leave him alone, so maybe she can impart some age old comforts.]
no subject
[Focus on her words. Focus on her words, on what she's saying, and not the feeling of fire crawling up along the base of his neck.]
Who's b-been teaching you?
no subject
[The taught is questionable, but she had been listening while he strummed his guitar.
So she softly hums to the beat of this song. Maybe the whole process is absurd enough to distract him. It's not 100% the same and she doesn't know how to do anything other than hum to the tempo and add her own horrible, terrible flair in the form of lyrics no one asked for-]
Cats like to sing
Nya nya nya
The moon likes to sing
Twinkle twinkle twinkle
Tim likes to sing-
[AND. SHE. WAITS.]
no subject
[Success on one front: Tim's too distracted by that, uh, expectation to concentrate on how much the fire fucking hurts, and as a consequence, it dies down very slightly - flames guttering to a low, bluish sizzle at his fingertips.]
[After the last time he..."sang," apparently, over the Stones, he's not keen to try again.]
S...sorry. Uh. You can keep going, though.
no subject
Oh twinkling star above, how beautiful yet lonesome.
As sad and lonesome as I am
I reach out, for your hand, We are two and one.
Farewell my love until we meet again-
Do you know that one? That pretty song?
no subject
[Apologetic tone, not that he expects she'll be surprised. He has a bit of an eclectic taste.]
Sounds nice, though.
no subject
[Since he doesn't want to make up any and doesn't know the dank moon lullaby!! Show her what you've got up your lyrical sleeve, Tim.]
no subject
[He's played songs before, right? He doesn't remember. Probably not best to demonstrate now.]
One of these days I'll get a jukebox for Denny. One that runs on mana pool water or something, I dunno. Show you songs from my world.
no subject
Would that make you happy? Do you want to listen to those songs again? Which one was your favorite?
no subject
[A favorite kid, he doesn't say. He doesn't, uh, have any kids!!!!!! No sir.]
I miss 'em sometimes, sure. One thing I miss about home. [He hasn't realized it, but the calm drone of conversation has caused the flames issuing from his hands to die down to a faint, relatively painless sizzle.]
no subject
Her eyes flicker to his hands and she tries to not let it linger there for long. The scary fire's going away-now she has to make sure it doesn't surge back to life somehow.]
Does a 'jukebox' have every song from your world? Do a lot of people sing there?
no subject
[Talk automatically, issue the words quietly, calmly. Focus on the words, on speaking aloud.]
Probably wouldn't charge anyone here, though. No one's got any money, for one.
no subject
[And as she goes to pull out some nasty shells or old bread, it just floats out of her bag for her. Amazing. She likes this.]
We can say 'Hello, Jukebox. Here's some treasure so play a pretty song.' That kind of thing will work.
no subject
[He watches her float stuff out of her bag. Doesn't have time for envy; just gratitude that she doesn't have to deal with a power like his.]
[The flames sting anew. Grit his teeth, force it back.]
It'd be pricey. But worth it.
no subject
I can help you make 'tokens.' That's something I can do.
[And help get the jukebox because she really wants to listen to some music.]
no subject
[Fresh sweat slicks his brow, and he screws his eyes shut.]
You seem to be handling your, uh, powers a lot better than me.
no subject
[And occasionally her little trinkets will fly into the sunset, never to be seen again, but she's getting a handle on it.]
But I want to hear hearts again. I miss that kind of thing.
no subject
[So it's a swap, then. Switching powers for other people's powers. Bodies for other bodies. Doesn't seem consistent, but what here is?]
no subject
[It's been a part of her for so long, she didn't realize how weird it would feel to be without it.]
Did you have a power go away too?
no subject
[He has something that lives in his head and makes shit difficult, but that's not a power. That's just a fucking curse.]
no subject
Do you only like instruments with strings?
no subject
Those're the ones I'm best at, but I used to have a bunch of different ones.
[Used to.]
[They all burned.]
no subject
[Jukeboxes probably aren't considered instruments but they are in this situation because she said so, pretty much.]
no subject
[Keyboard. Guitar. Ukulele. Been a long time since he's taken a mental inventory of his instruments, but he doesn't have those anymore anyway.]
They're gone now. Doesn't matter.
no subject
Did you sing when you played them?
