[OPEN LOG]
WHO: Terra and OPEN
WHAT: Thunderstorm Stuffs!
WHEN: 9/23
WHERE: Various, ending at Islet 1
WARNING: Excessive Cuteness
Though Terra could smell the moisture in the air indicating that it would rain later, she didn't know -when- and she certainly didn't know how hard. For the better part of the morning, she was exploring the islets, hoping to find something useful, whether it was some wood, fruit or even a prey animal to hunt and catch. However, she was caught fully unprepared for when the storm actually hit, and got caught in the sudden downpour. The heavy rainfall, the growling thunder and flashes of lightning found Terra making a hasty sprint for the nearest mana pool, hair and clothing quickly getting drenched.
Fortunately once she popped through the mana pool with her belongings, she wasn't that far from the shack she had claimed. Islet occupants may be aware of the green haired lass running away from the mana pool towards one of the shacks- though some of her fruit may have fallen out of her bag in the process. Once she was safely home, the door wasn't quite completely closed in her haste to get inside. She'd shut it sooner or later, but first, she wanted to try to dry off. And maybe try to plug some of the leaks in her home so she wouldn't get rained on. As it was her first thunderstorm, she was a bit at a loss and uneasy, but things could be worse, right?

I think that's a good idea. [ She glanced over her shoulder. ] I have to do that too. Plug the leaks, patch the holes in the roof..
[ It's at least something to keep her busy, and she preferred that to sitting idle, letting her thoughts wander. ]
no subject
If you prop the umbrella up underneath one of the leaks, it might keep off a bit of the water.

That'll work for the time being I think. That weaving thing - could I use that for the walls too? [ She might practice making umbrella's after Muffet shows her how. And she'll have to remember to ask about nets at some point. ]
no subject
I suspect you could, yes, although you'd have to be careful about finding a way to anchor them so they don't get blown around too much in the wind- it's not a very heavy material.
no subject
Oh.. that's true, it wouldn't be. [ Being only leaves and all. Though something occurred to her, and she oh's softly. ]
When you show me how to weave the fronds, can you teach me how to make a net too? Sans told me to ask you. If that's okay.
no subject
I'd be happy to. It's mostly a matter of getting the basic techniques down, then it's fairly simple to adapt them to what you need.
no subject
Thank you. I really appreciate it. [ She'll have to make a new umbrella to replace the one Muffet gave her. ]
Have you known Sans long?
no subject
Hm... you know, I'm not entirely certain when I first met him? We're both from the same world, and we'd spoken occasionally before arriving here- not terribly close, I admit, he was just the kind of person I might say hello to in passing if I saw him.
no subject
He is very nice. [ She agreed. ] He said we were friends. [ Which had been a pleasant surprise. Though she glanced at Muffet curiously. ]
Are we friends, too?
no subject
If you want to be friends, dearie, I'd be happy to.
no subject
Yeah I'd like that. [ She really was getting a lot of people to be her friend, and that was nice! Step 2: Finding out what friends do together. She might ask Prompto that, he seemed to have a good idea of the friendship thing. ]
Probably wrapping soon.
[Hearing the thunder rumble loudly, she winces.]
That said, I should probably get back indoors. Do come visit if you need anything, dearie.
Wrapping sounds good to me!
All right. Be careful on your return, Muffet. And thank you again.
