JUNE EVENT: CHAOS, CHAOS!

What: It's just a little chaos...

Where: Primarily Io, though also across Ensō and the islets if applicable
Warnings: Violence, possible body horror, potential anxiety and dysmorphia associated with body-swapping

Who Keeps Spinning the World Around?

The morning of June 17th, you'll probably notice things are amiss rather quickly. Your hands aren't your hands, or you're no longer in a squishy human flesh shape, or worse. Maybe your Lawful Good persona has plummeted into an outright Chaotic Evil one. Or maybe you wake up with a brand new power in your hands! Whatever the case is, no explanation is going to be immediately forthcoming, from Eleu or the Storyteller or anyone else. You'll have to figure out this mess on your own. Adjust to your new circumstances, master your new powers, and do what you can to make it through the next few days...because they're going to be some very interesting ones, for certain.

Catch Me If You Can!

Come June 20th, whether you're back to normal selves or not, Eleu has a job for you. A request, even. They're going to need your help to take care of this little problem and put a stop to all this absolute madness.

Those interested in helping can get in touch with any of the honeybees buzzing anxiously about Io, and they will redirect you to the Honeycomb, which has now been provided with several barrels of Honeycomb Sledgehammers for your use. You don't have to take one if you don't need it, but they make a very powerful weapon. Additionally, Eleu will take care to assure that, in exchange for your help, you may keep the Sledgehammer, if you so choose. Those interested in assisting may access our boss fight at its top-level below. This is a single thread with no order, but anyone may participate, regardless of their current state of being. Don't worry about how you contribute, or tag speed. Anyone who's concerned about being left out is welcome to reach out to us to handwave or backtag their involvement, if necessary!

The Clown Box is going to put up a fight, though. And it's not going to be pretty.

Code, actually. Or. This is code. [He points to his avatar.] Something like that. That is, as far as I can tell, a robotic version of my ordinary body.

[He indicates the body rattling underneath the forceful air-drying with an opening of a holographic hand. At least Keith is...drying it out. It's weird to not feel the powerful gusts of wind in the slightest, while the body that he's been trying to use simply lies there below.]

I think it is? It...probably needs a minute, anyway.

[Keith nods his head once. He lets his wings keep flapping in slow measured beats. If it helps, he'll do it.]

So, you're made of code right now. Okay. I can process that. [Sort of. Shiro had existed within the Black Lion but the Lion is...special. Legion has always been a machine.

All that's left is the oddity of his talk with Church. He pauses, wings holding still then he nods once. Resuming his flaps.]

So, what do you need me to do? To help other than this.

I don't know. I'm not sure how to get back in other than to...do it, and hope that it works. Which it doesn't, always.

[A minute, and then:]

Actually, you could probably carry it, right? My...body. The robot one.

[He immediately rises up on his haunches and reaches out to gently lift the body into his claws. Keith stills his wings and uses them like shields around it.]

Yeah, I can pick it up. ...wait. How does it feel when you're in this body? Maybe there's something we can do with that.

[Maybe how it feels when he connects with a Voltron lion could be of use here?]

It feels more...normal? Well...not really. It feels like the slightest jostle could knock me back out of it, but it feels more normal than being this. I can't feel any of what you're doing to it right now, if it helps.

[It is...weird to watch his body get picked up by a dragon's talons, though. Definitely not something he figured he'd ever seen.]

[He settles with the body in his talons. Now how could they get wash back into his own body? It seems like a daunting task. His brows come down.]

Maybe what you’re missing something to make the body work for you all the time. Anyone you know like this?

I mean...sort of.

[Church, uh, kind of is. Kind of was? As far as Wash is aware, he hasn't been able to jump out of his body.]

I don't think they're supposed to - I'm supposed to jump here. A.I. can, in theory, relocate to any body that has an A.I. access port. But they don't usually get limited by a...radius. [aka how far away he can get from his "host" body.]
