June Event: Chaos, Chaos!
JUNE EVENT: CHAOS, CHAOS!
Who: Anyone and everyone!
What: It's just a little chaos...
When: June 17th - June 22nd
Where: Primarily Io, though also across Ensō and the islets if applicable
Warnings: Violence, possible body horror, potential anxiety and dysmorphia associated with body-swapping

Who Keeps Spinning the World Around?
The morning of June 17th, you'll probably notice things are amiss rather quickly. Your hands aren't your hands, or you're no longer in a squishy human flesh shape, or worse. Maybe your Lawful Good persona has plummeted into an outright Chaotic Evil one. Or maybe you wake up with a brand new power in your hands! Whatever the case is, no explanation is going to be immediately forthcoming, from Eleu or the Storyteller or anyone else. You'll have to figure out this mess on your own.
Adjust to your new circumstances, master your new powers, and do what you can to make it through the next few days...because they're going to be some very interesting ones, for certain.

Catch Me If You Can!
Come June 20th, whether you're back to normal selves or not, Eleu has a job for you. A request, even. They're going to need your help to take care of this little problem and put a stop to all this absolute madness.
Those interested in helping can get in touch with any of the honeybees buzzing anxiously about Io, and they will redirect you to the Honeycomb, which has now been provided with several barrels of Honeycomb Sledgehammers for your use. You don't have to take one if you don't need it, but they make a very powerful weapon. Additionally, Eleu will take care to assure that, in exchange for your help, you may keep the Sledgehammer, if you so choose.
Those interested in assisting may access our boss fight at its top-level below. This is a single thread with no order, but anyone may participate, regardless of their current state of being. Don't worry about how you contribute, or tag speed. Anyone who's concerned about being left out is welcome to reach out to us to handwave or backtag their involvement, if necessary!
The Clown Box is going to put up a fight, though. And it's not going to be pretty.

[He means to grab her hands to make sure she doesn't undo the zipper itself, but now his fingers are on fire again.]
Let's get you...somewhere a little safer, okay?
["Safer." He's not sure anything on this island is actually unsafe, but it'll be nice to have a better place to help her figure out how this whole situation works. Hopefully the flames that he still, still can't seem to turn off won't scald her too badly if he needs to lean on her for support.]
[He almost holds out a hand to help her to her feet, but there's...blue flame shivering at his palm there, too. Ah.]
Uh. You need help standing?

Her hand lifts, but does reach for Tim's. Instead, her eyes zero in on the fire at his fingertips, brows furrowing as she concentrates on the particular skill she needs - the power to move and manipulate fire from a known source. Her eyes draw the line from Tim'a hand into hers, and for the briefest of moments, the tattoos on her seem to glisten, like they were hit with a sudden flash of light, and the fire travels from the young man's fingertips and into Ammy's palms, where she closes them together to snuff out its oxygen source.
There. It's not a permanent solution, but it'll at least keep the fire at bay. If he really needs it, she can try to make it rain on them for a minute or two, but that takes up a lot of her strength...and ink. Only after the job is done does Ammy holds up her arms like a child, hoping to get the help he offered in standing and walking.]

[But it doesn't spread. Instead, there's a gleaming light, and then the fire shrinks into her palms. Tim stares for a long moment. The fire's not dead, but...it's dimmed at least, thanks to her intervention. That's more than he would've expected from a power that gives him burning hands and burning everything else.]
Thanks.
{That's all he can think of to say. And - hey. It makes it easier to reach down and take her hands to help her upright.]
All right, c'mon.

The first step she takes is precarious, and there's an actual sound that makes it out o her mouth - akin to a grunt and a whine - as the rocks and small twigs get caught in the soles of her feet and between her toes. Gods, this too? You humans are just...so vulnerable. To literally everything! Even the world around you - tiny things like this - can cause discomfort. How in heaven's name do you little, squishy, unshielded blobs exist like this? It's not only miraculous, it's starting to seem...almost impossible.]

[Sweat is beading afresh across his brow with the effort to try and keep the flames back and support her simultaneously, but he's doing his best to be of...some support, even if it isn't much, probably.]
Hey, hey. 'S okay. You're doing fine.
[Hopefully that doesn't come across as too patronizing. Given that the words are uttered with a very audible tremor to them, they probably sound more scared than anything else.]
See if we can get you somewhere safer, yeah?

As they continue forward, slowly, Ammy's grip on Tim loosens the more she gets the hang of this walking business. Eventually, she can sort of...waddle on her own, looking hilariously like a toddler trying to walk and squat at the same time, but...it works. It's not perfect or pretty, but it works for now. And gives the young woman enough confidence to break away from Tim and begin on her own, though she does hover close to him, in case she needs to grab onto him in case she tumbles onto her ass or face.
That does sort of beg the question though - where is she going to stay during this whole affair? Maybe the temple? Mm...maybe not. It gets cold in there at night, and without her fur coat, it'd be pretty bad or her to sleep there. The Monkey Compound may work - there are homes there - but...oof, getting there will be a trek. And getting up into one of those homes will be even harder.]
Mmmn...

[She's not really one for talking. That's fine. Understandable, even, considering how much she looks like she's...new at being a human person.]
Might be able to get you to Denny. Know where that is?
