We Turn the Tide
As of March 10th, the mana pools on Ensō and its islets will now allow for travel to Cahypdo.

There is a mana pool situated on E5, to the island's south.

Most of E5 is overcome by a crooked sprawl of coastal cliffs, rocky bumps and swells that make the area a prime spot for tidepools. If one ventures to the region's eastern areas, they're certain to find all manner of marine creatures dwelling in the miniature ecosystems: crabs, clams, starfish, anemones.

If they go east, they'll be greeted by a soft expanse of warm sand. In the distance, the lumpy presence of buildings might be visible on just the next square over. But the local population are more than a little startled to have visitors, and you're bound to see a few curious members of their village wandering out to say hello. None of them, one will note immediately, are armed; either it doesn't occur to them that visitors might be hostile, or they have perfect confidence that hostile visitors aren't a concern.

And May Death Find You Alive
Now, we did mention on the island's introductory info post that Cahypdo's landscape isn't altogether stable. The soft sands and soils are prone to sinkholes and even quicksand in dire instances, and those who scale either of the mountains risk being overtaken by landslides and avalanches.

Which is why, on March 15th, there will be a rather sizable earthquake. Sizable enough to cause both mountains to shed heaping piles of slag and debris which may very well wipe out any brave traveler who was currently scaling either peak...or crush any innocents below who don't get out of the way quickly enough. The Roaka will, at this point, politely ask for your help in repairing and rebuilding any structural damage that has been done their buildings, as well as the general clearing of debris from the farmland at the island's heart. In return, they will gladly offer you some of their food and shelter, assist you with island exploration, and even extend an invitation to certain upcoming festivities they have in mind. Perhaps a celebration for surviving the earthquake...?

You may also use this log as a catch-all for reactions to the earthquake and what assistance you might offer, if any. Or if you simply end up getting in everyone's way. Not that we'd expect that of anyone here, oh no. Not us.

[Asgore is definitely tall enough not to be worried about certain things, as far as Bucky's concerned. It's not like he knows anything about monster physiology, after all.

But tree people probably don't have to worry about violent carnivorous plants, right?

He approaches the fruit very cautiously, but after a moment is at Asgore's side peering carefully at the fruit.]

I haven't seen anything like it before either. Huh.

[Kiwis weren't introduced to the States until after the conclusion of World War II. He has no idea what they could be at all.]

[The fruit seems healthy, and though he's unsure about its individual properties, it seems like it might be ripe. He picks one and easily splits it in half with his claws.]

It smells alright...I asked the Roaka about poisonous plants, and they did not say there were any, but they may not be affected by things the same way.

[Bucky picks one from the plant with interest, squeezing at it gently. With the metal hand, Asgore might notice.]

It's soft.

[He considers the statement for a moment, weighing the fruit in his mouth.]

It might not be poisonous to them, but who knows. The only kinda poisonous fruits I know about are usually bright red berries.

[Asgore considers it, shrugs, and then tears off a small piece.]

I will just try it. Most things that poison humans will also harm monsters, but it takes quite a bit to affect someone my size too badly.

[That's, uh, certainly a level of recklessness!]

[He raises his brows at Asgore in some amount of alarm.]

You sure that's a good idea? We have no idea if it's even edible.

The Roaka are so different from most of us, I am not sure if they could tell what may be bad for us or not.
