What: Your wildest dreams come true!
When: May 15th to May 18th
Where: Ziziphus, those still on Ensō...and Mu
Warnings: Mark as needed!

Then Know That My Life Was Just a Killer Dream
You can find most of the information you need in the OOC info post! In the meantime, feel free to use this log as a catch-all for your dream worlds, as well as detailing your efforts to free one another. Whether they're on Ziziphus or Ensō at the time of the dreams' capture, your character is free to access as many dreams as you like, as the interlocking mental landscape allows for that sort of crossing over apropos of nothing. And time, of course, is very fluid in dreams - many days, months, and years can transpire in a matter of mere minutes.

Will you fight your way free from Ziziphus's vines or Mu's thrall, or are you content to die in your sleep?

Remember to let us know if your character dies during this event!

Event Timeline

I would like to read all day. There's lots of other things I do as well but reading is an important part of my job.

What other things do you do? Do you play games?

[COLOR HER CURIOUS-what does a librarian do in their free time? She's only ever seen Shion among the books and doing little else.]

[What does he do all day? For a moment there's a flicker, because that should be an easy question to answer but...]

I like to watch Rat in his shows, I spend a lot of time at the theatre. I like walking on the beach with Aster as well.

[There, see, he does things that are not just being in this library. Everything's fine.]

[Rat feels like a name she should know and yet-

At least she recognizes Aster and while she doesn't know her that well, it warms her heart to know they travel along the beaches together. That's a fun place to be.]

What kind of show? Does he sing?

He performs stories. [Surely Ren knew Rat? He was pretty famous.] Mostly Shakespeare.

[Those are names that should all sound familiar and yet-

She can't really place Shakespeare's stories or Rat. That's strange? Weird? And she doesn't want to question it because she's distinctly aware they're all words and people she should recognize, even if her memory of all of them is fuzzy. Bizarre.]

Is he performing tonight? Can we see him?

I think he is, of course we can. I'm sure he will be happy to see you. [Because of course Rat knew Ren, why wouldn't Shion's husband know Ren? He spent as much time in the library as Shion did and Ren was always here, always with books that seemed to never get read...]

I can get us some tickets after work.

[Hell yes, a show. She's ready for it all.]

Then I'll stay here until you're off work.

Okay, I'll finish up what I need to do and then we can go and buy tickets. [He stands up.] You can read this while you wait if you want.

[She probably won't, but making sure there are good books surrounding her means one day she might read one.]

[That's fine. She'll sit here in the clutches of this awesome bean bag chair and do, like, absolutely nothing but stare at him from her spot.

For a few minutes. At various points until they leave for the show, he'll find her with the book he picked out for her, enjoying the adventures of the cat and this girl. Good choice, Mr. Librarian.]
