Where: Ziziphus, those still on Ensō...and Mu

You can find most of the information you need in the OOC info post! In the meantime, feel free to use this log as a catch-all for your dream worlds, as well as detailing your efforts to free one another. Whether they're on Ziziphus or Ensō at the time of the dreams' capture, your character is free to access as many dreams as you like, as the interlocking mental landscape allows for that sort of crossing over apropos of nothing. And time, of course, is very fluid in dreams - many days, months, and years can transpire in a matter of mere minutes.

Will you fight your way free from Ziziphus's vines or Mu's thrall, or are you content to die in your sleep?

Remember to let us know if your character dies during this event!

Event Timeline

[That sounds in-charge and Connor is a person who is carrying an axe and a bomb, so yeah alright. Unhooking the axe from his complicated rope harness, Connor's just going to join in. It's just a plant. He definitely knows how to take care of plants - killing gods is another thing entirely, but whatever.

This might as well happen.]

[A shrill whistle sounds and a bird of flame sweeps in to circle and provide some interference so Gladio has some cover from the vines for the long term. Behind it comes the dark haired, sharp eyed Keith with his black blade that glows with purple light of its own.]

Probably too caught up in our own crap. [He knows he wasn't exactly stable when he came to face the god. He shrugs it off, adding his blade but moving to cover the rest from the right. Giving them and him space to work.]

I'll make sure everyone gets the message.

[ It's about the one damn thing she can confidently do for this group, and she is going to fucking do it. ]

[Multiple actions occur, in swift succession. At Gladio's call, Bliss' attention is upon him once more, lidded eyes opening far more than prior. A fool, to be certain. He is a fool- and yet, a delicious undercurrent of hope soaks through his rage.

And then he's rushing them. Gladio's blow strikes through, a rumble of discontent rocking through the ground. It is followed quickly after by Ardyn's strike- by Connor's, by Keith's. The rumble becomes a quake, a low trumpet of disbelieving anger as Bliss' form is rocked to one side, exposing those very roots Gladio had shouted to the others.

They do not waste time in speaking. When more vines come, it is in a ferocious mass that converges upon the four with no more intent to simply snare them; they have chosen their fate. If they do not wish for contentment, then they shall be torn apart.

Futaba should also-- run. As quickly as her feet may take her, for she has not been disregarded. The vines that seek her form are as numerous and vicious as those that seek the blood of the others.]

Back up, we need a clear shot!

[Laurent does not have the heavy firepower to fend off those vines; Gladio and Ardyn and that firebird will have to cover for the less destructively-inclined among them. He's weaving through the battlefield, constantly moving to stay ahead of his own pursuing vines. Rather interestingly, he's steadily heading towards a point that flanks the god, avoiding the chokepoint of Bliss’ attentions.

Eventually there's going to be an opening- at which point he's conjuring four glittering spears in a broad arc above his head, and sending them shooting towards the exposed roots.

It's dipping into magic reserves he doesn't have, yes. It’s edging into gross overexertion. It's a bossfight, it's fine.]
