Open Post! It's not my fault I swear!

Who: Terra and OPEN
What: Solo Searching, Scolding Sharks, Starting... uh ...fires..
When: 11/24
Where: Enso, A7, B7 and around the Beach near such

1) SCREW YOU, JAWS!
Technically she could have volunteered to go along to the new island, but of late, she's been feeling a little out of sorts. Not as badly as when she returned from her expedition, but certainly odd. It didn't help that her magic kept acting up lately, and she wasn't sure why that was - so better to separate herself from people so she wouldn't put anyone at risk, right?

As such, she's opted to go exploring on her own, a bit of pep in her step, hoping to find something useful to help out the rest of the inhabitants of the island. Unfortunately by the time she's walked as far out west as she could, she could find nothing useful at all. Nothing except more rocks, more unbearable sun, but fortunately, no ovoids or fusterclucks or anything similarly horrific to deal with.

But that heat was awful. So awful. All it took was one misstep, and with a startled yelp the poor half esper slipped off the cliff and into the cool, refreshing, shark infested water, getting a number scratches and cuts from the tumble. Wellll that's just perfect. Anyone who may have been passing by the area might have just heard that - by all means, help. She's not so hurt she can't help herself though - in fact, she does try to climb back up, but it's just a TINY bit too steep at one point, so she decided she'd risk the sharks and try to swim around to a more shallow area. She's not afraid of you Jaws, Super Jaws and MegaJaws! Bring it!Help ;o; Or come across her as she's coming out of the water~!

2) Where's Smokey the Bear when you need him?!

Eventually, a now semi-soaking wet Terra managed to make it out of the water, a little more tired, a bit stressed all over again, but alert (hey that water did wonders to beat the heat), crossing through the forest once again to collect the belongings she had set down before she fell into the water. She really should tend to her injuries, but eh, they were small and superficial and she wasn't really thinking about it.

She was more than halfway there when she realized something was terribly wrong, and she glanced down in alarm as she felt the magic in her start building up, demanding a release. Almost desperately she tried to hold it back - to no avail. Less than a minute later, flames were quickly starting to spread across the forest floor - not nearly as bad as it could be, but well, where there's smoke there's fire right? "Oh .. Oh no, stop stopstop..!" This is bad. Really bad. UM. UM. WELL There's at least water nearby, so it can be put under control quickly but...uh. I reiterate. HELP. Do we even HAVE a fire brigade?

Noctis to say the least was pretty grouchy, most of that had to do with the heat, a lot to do with the lack of snackage, and his brain still trying to figure out his weird two week absence - and doing it without the power of carbohydrates. Shiva, he'd give anything right now for some fries. Potatoes. . . .

He loved fishing, there was no question about it, but when it was becoming his and all of his friends only source of nourishment, it was a bit tiring. He even notice the extra notch he had to put in his belt after this month.

Speaking of fishing. . . .he decided to attempt the west side of the island. Maybe he'd catch something different? Maybe just a change of scenery. Anything. He was bored, and grouchy. However, he was quick to his sense as he stood on the beach not far from the cliffs. And, there was Terra, falling to her doom.

Oh shit.

Without hesitation he began warping in her direction. He was too beat and she was too far away to make it to her in time for her to hit the water. The engine blade dug into the cliff side, meters above the waves, he grasped the handle, with one hand, his other reaching out to Terra as she surfaced. "Hey! Grab on!"

He stretched his muscles forward, they ached as they reached for her, until finally, he snagged her wrist firmly. Then with all his might he pulled her up. "I got you."

He managed some footing on the cliff walls, planting himself there and attempted to get her some as well.

"Hold onto the hilt," he instructed. He was in no nonsense mod at the moment, rescue mode. He had to figure out had how to get them up now. Warping himself was one thing, he wasn't capable of taken another person with him. Luckily his arsenal was well stocked. "Wait here."

He released both her and his engine blade, however, before he plummeted to the ground, in his hands, a royal arm - The Blade of the Mystic - appeared. As fast as it appeared it was thrown to the top of the cliff and in a blink he had warped its way. He swung himself onto the ground, barely catching his foot hold.

Two warps, one royal arm - he needed to cartch his breath. Luckily, he didn't think that Terra could see him. He looked for a anchor, found one in a stone, removed the rope from his pack, secured, and finally tossed it down her way. "Here you go."

"Just leave it," he instructed, noticing her attempt. He could get it back later. Once he felt she was holding on securing, he wrapped the slack around his waist for leverage and began pulling. The heels of his boots dug into the dirt as her marched backwards.

He was still tired, but he could do this. He had to get her up, and then he could take a break.

Once she was up top, his muscles tensed and he fell back with an exasperated sigh. That was more work thanhe thought it would be. At least she was okay. Wet, but that was a a running them on this island. He didn't have his spare clothes on him this time around though, so she was out of luck on that matter.

"You okay?"

"Yeah." He just needed to watch is break before going down to get his sword. He had avoid using his royal arms for the most part while here, and there was a good reason. Still, to save his friend it was worth it. "How'd you fall anyway?"

He forced himself to sit up. "Sounds like you're suffering from heat exhaustion. We should probably get you to some shade and some water." Noctis got to his feet and went back to the cliff's edge, he held out his hand and summoned his sword back to him.

He took a moment to contemplate, looking at the water. Now and then a shadow would surface, and an intimidating dorsal fin broke the barrier of the water. "Do you think sharks are edible?"

"Because I'm thinking about eating one."

The islets were seriously low on food. They needed to thing of something. Even normal fishing was becoming scarce he seemed to notice. It probably had to do with the flood and most of them dying when it resided. A shark could feed a lot of people.

Though if it was too big, there could be problems. He wasn't exactly an expert in shark butchering.

"I am," he iterated. "And I would share." There were a lot of people to feed after all. He couldn't very well let anyone die of starvation if he could so something about it, let alone anyone he cared about. "Can't say I know how to butcher a shark though, in order to bring it back. I'd have to go for a smaller one."
