October Intro: Aftermath Mingle

What: Now that you've all committed monkey genocide, it's time to clean up and go home.

Congratulations on effectively reversing the tables, adventurers. As the hunted become the hunters, the remaining simians begin to retreat into the jungle, disappearing from sight as the drumming dies down, before extinguishing entirely.

It appears that you have won.

Now it's time to clean up.

Those still in the Monkey Compound may wish to begin scavenging what they can, from multiple coconut guns to rudimentary spears. There's a flock of Bludroc happy to be herded to a new home, several stashes of fresh fruit to be found... and a rather large iron pot, for the particularly bold.

Others may be more concerned with returning to the islets and securing the personal belongings that were left behind. There are new people to settle in, as well; and undoubtedly, a few injuries yet to be healed.

Reunite, rejoice, recover. And perhaps, should you see the Storyteller about- ask a few questions.

Well, he was a Hyur, for certain. Dark, short hair. Looked to be around a similar age to myself, which would be 21.

[Since most non-Lalafellean folk have trouble telling their ages, for some reason. Though she doesn't realize that what Eorzeans call Hyurs, most call humans.]

[For a moment she seems bemused, but launches into an explanation easily enough.]

Oh, you know. Rounded ears, fairly taller than either of us, not quite as large as a Roedagyn, and their skin usually ranges from brown to cream besides. I've seen more of them here than anything else.

[Come to think of it, she hasn't seen nearly as much of the various races that she's familiar with, aside from herself.]

[She has to admit that's quite strange. Then there's been plenty of strange things to notice of late.]

There's five races of people who make up the majority of Eorzea, and a sixth that you still see from time to time. And that's not even counting the Padjal, or the beastmen tribes. And Garleans, I suppose.

[She might've left them out entirely but Cid was a good person, for all his origins.]

I'm a Lalafell myself. But except for Hyurs, I haven't seen any of the others.

[Though really, that's all enough about her.]

I suppose your world is quite different too?

I guess so! I'm just a mouse, plain and simple. My best friends are a duck and a dog, the captain's a cat, but the princess is a mouse too.
