[ it takes a few hours of jostling for Luna to wake up.
The air is heavy, and yet...bright. A sunbeam penetrates the worn down temple walls through a misguided tree root, and the heat is almost gentle.
Well, it'd be more gentle if it hadn't been on her face for longer than a few minutes. She rustles on the ground, her shirt dragging up the dust of the ground. Her gray eyes open slowly, one at a time, and she presses a hand to her head. It feels like someone came up behind her and just-- with a plank of wood! BAM! But there's no bruising to suggest that actually happened. There's...nothing, except her familiar, ragged red cap and the well loved pink flower tee that she had become pretty well known for back home.
Back home. In Alola.
This whole scene feels familiar, like something out of a book she read. She looks at the ground and sees pages-- several pages, that just...wisp away on a dreamy breeze. A memory. Not an actual piece of paper. They belonged to the... ]
Story...teller?
[ slowly, Luna stands. Her hands that press to her hip reveals what she was beginning to remember and also fear. Two pokeballs-- one of them hot, the other one cold. There is some relief on her face, in between the hazy confusion. Glad to have two, rather than none at all. She sucks in a deep breath, resting a hand on the familiar, well worn chain around her neck. A skull hangs from it, somewhat scratched up but obviously aged with love. She grips it-- something that usually fills her with strength, and begins to shout. ]
Hello?! [ she starts outside of the temple, the sun pressing down into her skin. A familiar sight from her dreams, brought real by the wind caressing her face and the ocean howling from the shore nearby. ] Anybody here?!
[ first matter of business-- find someone. Second matter of business-- find friends. Third matter of business...find the story teller.
And somewhere in the middle, maybe find some food? Yeah....food is sounding so good. Maybe start with food. ]

It's a fear that's kept him up at night more than once. One he fills with those menial tasks and chores, and thanks his lucky stars for the distraction they offer. It's during the daily routine - hunting and foraging this time around - that Guzma hears the crying of someone. Another newbie, perhaps, they're still showing up here? Ugh... At least they seem young enough not to be that witch. But in this state, his mind is still only working at a modicum of what it usually is, and his focus is...blurred. Fuzzy. Recognition has not hit yet.]
Yeah, and pretty soon what every hungry beastie's gonna be on you like fresh carrion if y'all keeping hollering like that.

Then...I guess me and Kitten and Nina are gonna have to prove how strong we've gotten, huh? [ she pushes on a particularly strong leafy branch, and winds up getting pushed backwards. >:C rude af branches!!! ]

He saunters over, shaking his head and offering the little punk and arm to pull her up, easily. There's a slight curl to his lip, one that wasn't there, hasn't been there, for several days.]
Tch, as graceful as a one-legged Spinda, I swear...
no subject
Hey, Spinda could probably be pretty graceful!! So...I'll take that as a compliment. [ she puts her hands on her hips. A lost argument, but...man, is Guzma a sight for sore eyes. ] This is the storyteller's house, right? What're you doing out here?
[ she pauses!!! What if he's in the middle of something?? WHat if.... ]
Can I help out??
[ GIVE HER THE MAIN QUEST ALREADY U BIG RUFFIAN, LUNA WANTS TO GO!!! ]

Temple, and I wa-- [Luna, can he FINISH? Please...child. 8|] If y'all is okay with fishing, or digging in the sand, then sure thing. Could use someone low to the ground to help me forage a bit, too...heh.
[He grins wickedly, smacking his big mitt over her head and shaking vigorously. Teany weenie widdle wuna.]

Urf...hey!! [ she can't help but start laughing, though. Stress relief....not at it's finest, but having friends always is. She manages to ward his hand off of her head. ] Fine, but I'm gonna give you all the weird looking berries that I find! And...I'm not really good at fishing...but Nina, Kitten and I can dig up all the sand on the whole island!!
[ can they really?? No. But man, they'll get side tracked and make an amazing sand castle, though. What do you even look for in sand, anyway?? Hermit crabs?? She doesn't quite understand, but...being helpful. That sounds promising. ]

His hand his removed from her head, and shoved right on into his pocket, though Luna is more than welcome to hang onto the crook of his arm or his hoodie if she so chooses. He won't actually pull away this time around.]
If your Pokemon can dig, then they can probably find clams and other shellfish on the beach. There's, uh...idk what they're called - Snaplings? I think? Anyway, those are edible if weird looking. But Golisopod can fish, and I guess I can have Scizor hunt the Bludrocs... [He scratches at his chin with a frown.] Might mean I gotta butcher it though...mm.
wildcard!!
[For what reason? Who knows. Is there a point to this? Probably not. But they have to make up lost time and Ren's got a thousand different hiding spots to show her.]
There's a big hole and that's where the treasure is.
heck!!! adventures!!!
A big hole? What kind of treasure? [ she hops to follow Ren's footsteps, a smile on her face. ] Should we have brought snacks?
[ the important questions. Did you bring snacks? Luna's....got some baking soda. It isn't very tasty. ]

[That's not a statement anyone should trust because now the elves are gone and nothing can stop her. Except for Kravitz, but she squirms a lot and is highly protective of her disgusting bag. She reaches into a side pocket to pull out, uh, something horrific and dried by time in a place god never looks.]
It's very good treasure. That's where I put the best rocks and flowers. No one will find them, except for us.
