If you happen to be in the area of the second Islet, where a make-shift hut has become the home of two local pokemon trainers, you may find yourself smelling something amazing. Well, amazing if you enjoy fish. With their new wood-burning stove, Luna and Guzma's cooking game has upped itself tremendously. Rather, Guzma's cooking game has upped itself. Luna has gained a rank in firestarting and firekeeping. It's amazing, living together with a guy like Guzma-- mainly because Luna would never have thought it could happen. But here he is, standing around and cooking fish like he's been doing it for years...probably. Not that Luna knows. Guzma's a pretty outstanding mystery to her in the first place. Weird, kind of spooky. Pretty negative. But everyone knows him, so he's not shy. His pokemon adore him, so he can't be all bad.
It doesn't stop both her pups from being on high guard. Luna'd be lying if she said that there weren't times she was on guard herself-- but having someone who knows where you come from is something that she's decided to not take for granted. Someone with enough knowledge and history to ground her and remind her that home exists...
....somewhere.
Islet #2's hut is...pretty organized, but definitely split into two sides. With the addition of the wood burning stove, the two have tried to insulate their abode with a large tarp, though they still lack a proper roof. There are two strangely hung hammocks on opposite sides-- one of them has a very impressive looking tigershark-skin blanket draped across it invitingly. They seem to be hung by an insect's silken threads, and are very secured to what little they could be fastened to on the worn-down parts of the hut.
On a side of the hut, seashells hang of all types and sizes. They're pretty to look at. There's a small pile of them on the floor, along with a bag that says 'L U N A' in worn letters. There's fur on it-- perhaps someone sleeps here?
For now, this temporary home is fine.

[ a small wind has her grasping the tree tightly. It stops, and she's obviously quite spooked, but she reaches up toward the leaves anyway. ]
...I-I'm really close. But can...you stay there, Nick?
[ she must have misheard him saying his name the first time he said it. She pulls on the leaf. He's really nice, to be there in case she falls, but this worry isn't something she's used to-- it makes her feel a little stronger willed toward her goal, if anything else. Don't...don't let them worry about you. You have a job to do-- even after you go home, you have a job to do.
The leaf snaps from it's place and she brightens up, shaking the leaf a bit with victory in her voice!! ]
I-I got it! I did it! [ YOU HEAR THAT WORLD, SHE GOT DIS. CONSIDER IT CHECKED OFF. A+. TIME TO GO HOME. DOWN THIS TREE.
Needless to say, the celebration dies down when she realizes that she has to come down. Bllllllleh. After a quick breath in, she starts lowering herself down the tree on shaking hands and unsturdy feet. :C This is not a good time. And each time her foot slips trying to find some footing, she stops completely.
This was not one of her smarter ideas. Nope. Nope. ]

Nice job!
[He hollers up to her when she pulls the leaf free, instinctively taking a step back and getting ready to catch her, just in case.
It's nerve wrecking to watch her climb down - which he'll admit is a bit ironic given some of the situations he's been in. The second that she's in arms reach (or well, arms reach plus Nyx going up on his tip toes) he plucks her from the tree with his hands under her armpits.]
Got'cha. Just let go and you'll be back on the ground before you know it.
[He waits until she releases her hold on the tree, carefully setting her down on the ground and moving to keep a steadying hand on her shoulder.]
(....WHAT JUST HAPPENED DREAMWIDTH QUESTION MARK)
With a plop, she sinks directly down and onto her knees under that steadying hand. B-breathe...breathe. Hokay. Okay. You're on the ground, Luna! You're on the ground and you have a leaf and things are good and great! ]
Th-thanks, Nick... [ she looks at him with as much of a smile as she can manage. Lingering feelings of being Spooped and trembly arms make it somewhat forced, but darn it all if Luna doesn't try and be positive in the face of her fears. ]
Did you come for dinner...?
[ Maybe he's friends with Guzma, too? ]
D:!!! I don't know!
Nyx not Nick.
[Not that there's much heart in the correction. She could probably get away with calling him 'Nick'.
Unable to help it, he reaches out to ruffle her hair.]
Nope, was just passing by and I saw this kid being way more successful at climbing a tree than me.

Haha!! Not really! But I got a leaf, so now we have another plate! [ she looks up at him with such determination!! What a good job!! ]
Are you doin' okay? Do you have a house around here, too?
