It's time to party!

What: After all the shit that went down in August and September and to help the newbies get settled, it's time for a party!
When: 26th October
Where: Outside the Denny

[It took a while to organise but it’s finally here! Outside the Denny is a warm fire with dragon meat and all sorts of other meat cooking on it. There is also food strewn on tables and various modern music in the background thanks to Michael’s phone.

Not only that but there are also games on a few separate tables provided by the Denny.

Feel free to bring your own food, drinks and games. Maybe you’re even helping cook some of the food yourself? Or you are keeping watch to make sure nobody causes any trouble! Or are you the person causing trouble yourself? Of course, none of you would dare do that, would you? WOULD YOU???? Or are you having a dance? Or maybe you're that wallflower who is just sitting there drinking and refusing to talk to people? Either way, feel free to come up with your own prompts!]

He said he found the seeds on one of the islands that popped up a while back... he didn't choose to grow them, though. There... used to be what looked like a wolf trapped here with the rest of us, but I'm not sure that's what she really was. In any case, she was the one who grew the plants.

[You know, a thing wolves generally can't do, right up there with "constantly being wreathed in flame" and "having a mirror fixed to her back that not everyone could see".

To his credit, Ginko keeps from snorting at that. "Nice" seems like far too strong a word, but...] It went fine.

Ohhh... well, that was kinda nice of her? I really can't imagine a wolf growing weed!

[ He shrugs, not asking further questions that might just confuse him more. ]

I'm happy to know it went fine with my brother! He can be very shy to strangers and stuff!

Neither can I, unless the wolf was a god. [Which is what he's got to assume she was, frankly. It seems to him like the most likely explanation for an animal having powers like that.]

I did get that impression... seemed like he didn't really want to be talking to anyone at all, but he needed help identifying some of what the wolf grew. Fortunately, it was pretty quick.

[ A wolf God is absolutely someone he's gotta meet... he's putting it in his bucket list.

After doing that, with a loud KACHIIIINK! that he only hears in his head, Jyushimatsu mentally rewinds and registers what Ginko tells him next. ]

Haha, he's like that! Won't talk to anyone unless he needs something from them! But I promise he's just really shy!

Well, I can't very well fault him for that. [Ginko likes people in general just fine, and likes to interact with them when he can, but they do sometimes make him very tired.] He seemed like an alright guy, after all.

He is! People just don't understand how shy and anxious he is! At least he didn't do anything weird like poop on a table!

[ That is, indeed, something Ichimatsu would do in extreme cases of social distress. ]

I... don't think I knew him well enough to determine that.

[So he's going to assume it was hypothetical, and exaggerated, and would not happen, because he doesn't need to think about that right now.]

You should have gotten to know him better then! Maybe he's a bit too shy, but he's actually a very kind guy who loves cats! If you like cats then he would have been a good friend to you!

I guess I'm not very good at getting to know people to begin with.

[He's smiling as he says it, even though it's not really a joke. For all that he gets attached to people, getting to know them is different.]

Anyway, I don't know that I have very strong feelings on cats one way or another. [Despite having thoroughly adopted a tigerlily cub that started following him around.] So I guess it's hard to say how we would have gotten along.

Hahaha! He's not that good either! Not at all! You guys could have bonded over that instead of cats.

[ ... Ironically enough. Jyushimatsu chuckles louder. ]

You also have similar faces! I mean, me and nii-san have the same face but I wouldn't be able to pull off a face like, uh... [ He waves his floppy sleeve, gesturing towards Ginko. ] Yours. And his!

Not getting to know people seems like an odd thing to get to know someone over.

[HEY NOW. Ginko's ears flick back, and his face gets... even more like that than it already was.] What's that supposed to mean?

See! That face! The face you're making right now - it's exaaaactly what he looks like!

[ More gesturing, his voice louder and filled with laughter. He won't ever give an explanation to anything. ]

[Wow. Wow!! Ginko scowls all the harder, then, not nearly as subtly as he probably hopes, looks away and scratches at his temple with one hand.]

Well, I'll just have to take your word for it.

[He is trying SO hard to act like he's not bothered.]
