It's time to party!

Who: Anyone!
What: After all the shit that went down in August and September and to help the newbies get settled, it's time for a party!
When: 26th October
Where: Outside the Denny
Warnings: Label any relevant warnings in your posts! Otherwise none that I can think of.

[It took a while to organise but it’s finally here! Outside the Denny is a warm fire with dragon meat and all sorts of other meat cooking on it. There is also food strewn on tables and various modern music in the background thanks to Michael’s phone.

Not only that but there are also games on a few separate tables provided by the Denny.

Feel free to bring your own food, drinks and games. Maybe you’re even helping cook some of the food yourself? Or you are keeping watch to make sure nobody causes any trouble! Or are you the person causing trouble yourself? ~~Of course, none of you would dare do that, would you? WOULD YOU????~~ Or are you having a dance? Or maybe you're that wallflower who is just sitting there drinking and refusing to talk to people? Either way, feel free to come up with your own prompts!]

i; the menace has arrived

[ As a tradition for NEETs like him, Jyushimatsu brought nothing for the party. He would have claimed food and drinks for his maw before he even gave himself a chance to share with the others. Plus, he's kinda broke anyway. But he's here! The fifth Matsuno will be bouncing around the area, getting himself acquainted with the place by climbing walls and hiding under the tables and crawling like a cryptid over the floor. You know, the usual Jyushimatsu stuff.

Alternatively, he also feels like being social and finding himself people who will hopefully not become his enemies. The proper way to do that is clearly popping up from behind them and yell with his usual no-indoor voice. ]

HI HI HI HI I'M JYUSHIMATSU!

[ Note: he'll say this even to people he already met in the island. ]

ii; being an adult is good sometimes

[ So, there's yummy food and there's whiskey and Jyushimatsu can never say no to either of those things, so he's going to shovel whatever he can get away with into his big maw of a mouth, regardless of the amount. He'd been so damn hungry the entire first week here!

And yes, he's legal of age, he can drink his alcohol, but that doesn't mean the people around him won't think otherwise, considering... the way he looks and acts. ]

iii; jyushiraptor against humanity

[ Japan probably didn't have games called Cards Against Humanity. This is his first time and he's already loving the content of those cards that he'd been given.

He especially loves one of them, and as soon as the first round starts, when the Czar gives the phrase to fill with one card, Jyushimatsu will proudly slam his own on the table...

... face up, showing the whole content to the other players. ]

FUCK MOUNTAIN!!! [ He shouts, happy, confident that he's already won. Someone explain him this isn't how you play CAH... ]

[ At this point he's just a little bit tipsy, which means he's totally compelled to show off his dancing skills to the population!

He'll climb on a table and, likely off tune with unrelated music, he'll start flexing and bouncing like he means business. ]

[He's got an audience and a willing participant suddenly. She's trying to copy the way he flexes and bounces, albeit from the ground like a person. Not that she resembles one, with the costumed get up she's wearing. She looks like a freaking raccoon, mask and all.

The point is, she's supporting him. That's the dream.]

[Hello Jyushimatsu. That teenager you have just popped up from behind and yelled behind him? This is Zidane and he was busy at one of the tables, drinking and watching out for pretty girls he could go and talk to and make friends with. Ok he intends to make friends with everyone else too but especially pretty girls because come on giiiiiiiiiiiirls!

And his reaction to Jyushimatsu jumping on him like that was one out of complete calm and serene composure.]

[So calm that he falls backwards and his drink ends up in the air, possibly landing on Jyushimatsu.

His smile blank as a sheet, he takes that mug on his head like a champ, letting it bounce off his head and land on the floor. His hair and face is now completely matted in liquid. What a waste, buddy! ]

[ Whether or not he's acting stupid... well, doesn't matter, he's still an idiot. ]

[Okay that smile is creepy. Is he trying to take the piss or something? Although Zidane is not sure whether or not to be impressed by this guy as he just lets the cup land on the floor without any other reaction.]

It kinda is if someone jumps on you like that, buddy. [like could you not do it face to face or at least tap him on the shoulder to get his attention? Because wooooooooow]

[ What's that? Common sense? Gross! A Matsuno is above all that nonsense. Jyushimatsu just keeps his smile fixed on, unmoving. ]

I wasn't jumping at you, I just said hi and told you my name!

[ He's definitely in the right here! ]

[He stops for the moment. It might be that weird smile but he gets the impression that this guy might be serious. OH BOY....]

Okay. Never mind. How 'bout next time you introduce yourself you just go up to 'em and say it to their face. You might get a more positive reaction that way. Dunno. Could work.

[ His mouth rounds up in thought. ]

Hmmmmm... okay, if you say so! I'm gonna re-do my hellos, this time properly, okay?

[ Jyushimatsu steps in front of the guy, determined to do better! Because he wants friends and not people actually afraid of him in his circle! ]

[Welp. This dude doesn't sound like he thinks things through. Oh, well. He seems to mean well at least and Zidane's not the type to hold a grudge, especially not over something as minor as this. So he shrugs.]

Sure, I can do that. [And there is a casual smile and a wave.] Name's Zidane. And you said your name was uh.......what was it again?

[ A good boy, this Zidane. Way too good, giving another chance to him of all people.

He stays frozen for a solid few seconds, before leaning in as fast as a car racing straight towards Zidane, stopping short of giving him a headbutt, and then— ]

[ All he had to do was get all up in the guy's face and shout even louder, right? An improvement! ]

GEEZ! [Wow that was even louder. But Zidane manages to keep his balance this time followed by an awkward laugh.] Eheheheheh. Right. You might wanna work on saying that less loud next time. If you don't wanna scare people.

So Jyushimatsu, huh? I don't think I've seen you around before.

I don't scare people! It's them who scare themselves! [ Good job trying to deflect that, but anyway— ]

Yeah, I'm Jyushimatsu and I arrived like a few days ago? I'm the newest shiny of this hellish island!

I'm not good at keeping up with whatever went on around here, but I know three of my brothers were here before!

So you have friends already, huh? That's a good start at least. Makes finding your footing here much easier.

[But the last part's interesting.] Your brothers, huh? So they came here and then they left before you arrived? Man, it really is common for someone here to find someone else they know back home. Or know that they were here like in your case. [Hasn't happened to him yet but he'll see that as a good thing. He doesn't want anyone he cares about to deal with what goes on in this world.]

I saw one of them in a dream before I came here! That was weird! I miss him already...

[ He crosses his arms, looking pretty disappointed, and with no idea of what Ichimatsu in particular went through in the long time he'd been here. Jyushimatsu just wishes he was still around! ]

But at least he got friends, which is more than I expected from him! I was surprised to know that! [ Lowkey burying Ichi for being an emo cat, sorry but not sorry. ]

Surprised? [There's a small chuckle there.] You mean he's the quiet, shy type? Or the loner grumpy guts type? [HE KNOWS BOTH TYPES PRETTY WELL]

A little bit of both? He often stays in a corner and glares at anyone approaching him... except me or cats! But he definitely wants to have friends, he's just reeeeally bad at socializing!

Ah.....so he's that kind of guy. Hmmm....well, if he comes back here, introduce him to me and I'll help him settle in and make friends! How 'bout that?

Okay! I heard he already got some friends here but it would never hurt to get more!
