The best part about winning is getting to loot the bodies [OPEN MINGLE]

Who: Erryone!! And especially YOU!
What: There's a dragon carcass that needs to be picked over like it was a turkey.
When: Right now!!
Where: Nastrandir and Enso
Warnings: Nothing inherent. Please label your threads accordingly!

[Here's an open post for y'all to stock up on/scavenge everything Nastrandir has left behind OR to thread out anything you might wanna build, make or commission from the dragon's remnants. The sky's the limit!]

["Programming" is an inaccurate word for it...but the Drifter does not know the alternative. They lack any affinity for language, and the limited nature of vocabulary.]

does not matter

(Perhaps, but what are "instinct" and "training" but other forms of programming?

Regardless...)

Request: If you do not wish to discuss a topic, tell us. Please do not state that it "does not matter".

not adept at discussion

[They have been forced, on occasion, to confront their feelings on some manners under extreme duress. It is not merely a question of what they'd like to do, or what they would wish to do; most of the time, it simply comes down to not knowing how.]

Without practice, this is unlikely to improve.

(They take a brief moment to check on their arm.)

[Isn't it unlikely to matter? Improving only works if one has a reason to improve - somewhere to improve to. And they are already dead. Is it not a waste of time, to devote to improving something they cannot hope to be amended for good?]

still hurts?

We do not experience physical pain.

It must be repaired.

can fix

[They know, at least, how to take apart the pieces that would facilitate the repairing. That isn't much, but it's something. It's something.]

Affirmative.

(...It was not their original plan, but perhaps it will assist in relieving the Drifter's distress.

After a moment, they reach in their backpack with their uninjured arm, and grab their soldering iron.)

require help?

[Presumably, Legion is adept enough at mending their limbs on their own. Perhaps the Drifter's assistance is unprecedented. If they fail in this effort, it's possible it might only make things more difficult down the line.]

We will accept it.

(It's not exactly a complicated injury, no need to take apart and replace tiny interlinked parts or anything like that. After a moment, they offer the soldering iron to the Drifter.)

ok

[At least they know something of how best to manage the tool, now.]

alert if progress is adverse

Affirmative.

(And this will probably be easier if they sit, and let their arm rest on a rock or something, so they'll do that.)

[They have to move slowly by default. It's better to work these things carefully, especially as they are not overly familiar with the newness of this skillset. Still learning. Learning slowly (what is the point in learning if it will be squandered on the dead what is the point in trying if this is where it gets them) flies in the face of everything they are, but if they can do nothing else right, they can at least do this.]

[Try and mend what they have broken.]

(They chatter softly to themselves as they watch the Drifter work.

It's easier now, for them to allow others to assist in performing maitenance. They've recieved such assistance from multiple allies.)
