After calling his housemates, it doesn’t take too long for Ginko to get himself and Hector to the monsters’ shared cottage - it’s really just a trip to the mana pool away, after all.

He lets out a breath of relief when he steps inside, out of the morning sun that’s already starting to weigh on him, prickling at his neck and hands where his skin is exposed. “Hey. Any preference for where to sit, Hector?”

Not that they have a lot of seating, but, whatever.

Lucky for Espilon, Edward's intentions are made clear fairly quickly. He comes back out of his room with a piece of chalk in hand and starts drawing out an alchemical circle onto the stone floor. He did overhear Hector's confusion, but with his attention taken up for the moment whatever comment he might have had is left to be a mystery.

(Though his tired smirk might give hint to it.)

"Why would I have talked about it?" The response, without Ginko thinking about it, comes out a little more snappishly than one might expect from him - even if that's not saying much. He even glances at Epsilon before looking away again.

His tail thumps against the floor, but he holds Hector steady as he addresses him; the irritation has drained from his voice again. "It makes me tired, basically. It can get pretty bad if I'm exposed to too much, but that's about it."

Being in the hand of someone irritated and shouting at you is not a feeling he's enjoying one bit. He has that effect on people, with all his crazy stunts, lies, and 'borrowing' habits, of course, but usually he at least has a body. He's so helpless and it's terrible.

"Be...cause we don't want you to feel like garbage?" When will you learn, Ginko, people give a damn.
