Sometimes I indulge my every whim [Open]

Who: Starflight + YOU
What: Dragon & Bookworm stuff
When: early-October
Where: Library, Ahidalga’s Nest
Warnings: Gore/corpses. Sorry.

I. Library - October 3

With all the planting going on, Starflight had visited the Storyteller’s temple to cycle some of the books from the library for some of the more useful ones on agriculture which might have been stored there. He had managed to find a good number of them and a fairly good sized stack was sitting on the desk, though finding room for them on the shelves and figuring out what books to take back was a challenge.

The floor was a mess of small piles, the mid-way point of the reorganization, but going through books was dangerously distracting, and Starflight kept having to stop himself from reading a new book he picked up. It was an effort he was not terribly succeeding at. Anyone entering would have to be careful not to trip over his progress, as he had become engrossed in one of the more interesting books that crossed his path.

II. Ahidalga’s Nest - October 6-sh

Starflight had done everything he could to avoid fighting the other dragons. They were deeply unnerving, and he didn’t like fighting regular dragons, let alone dragons that were on fire. But once the chaos had died down, he couldn’t help but be curious about Nastrandir, and eventually found his way to the dragon’s lair. He very pointedly avoided the remains of the enormous dragon, slipping deeper inside until he came across the treasure room.

He gasped, eyes wide. Metal and gems glinted everywhere he looked, the room larger even than the empty NightWing treasury. He would never have imagined Ahidalga had been hoarding so much.

“I never thought I’d ever see this much treasure in my whole life,” he said awestruck, as he sunk his claws into a pile of golden coins and gems with a thrill.

Does it make a difference? We don't have a system of currency here, outside of stories.

[Michael is here to, quite shamelessly, loot the body itself. At the moment, he is standing just entirely in its ribcage, tugging at some sinew that stretches out above his head. The fact that another, friendly dragon can see him doing this does not seem to register.]

[Michael pauses, gaze darting for a moment as if he had literally never questioned whether or not it might be.]

Why not? It's already dead.

Oh, that's fine, this is just a tendon. It's the veins you'd want to watch out for. Even those, human blood usually starts to turn into this sort of Jell-O stuff after a day or two.

[There's probably a technical term for that but he's not sure what it is. Anyway, dragon blood might do the same thing, just give it time!]

[Michael snaps his fingers.] That's the one!

And I want it because I can't make rope that lasts longer than a day, and these tendons are pretty tough. I'll clean it up, dry it or whatever. It could come in handy.
