SEPTEMBER EVENT: BURNING ALIVE

What: HOLY SHIT A FUCKING DRAGON
When: September 12th to September 19th
Where: Both Nastrandir and Ensō!
Warnings: Violence, potential injury by fire, potential character death. If anything else comes up, tag as you go!

Now I'm Ready for War
If you don't see the calamity, you'll probably hear it - the furious roars of an enraged, hungry beast, paired with the loud crash of waves as a great deal of water shifts, all at once.
If you're on Nastrandir, you'll have a massive, three-headed, fire-breathing dragon to contend with, as well as its watery counterpart. Either focus on staying alive or take the fight to the creature directly. If you choose the latter option, bear in mind that the massive water-serpent will be dispensing weapons for your use, and that these weapons will be the most effective against the beast's scaly hide. You have full mod permission to injure Ahidalga in whatever way is feasible for your character. We won't be policing anyone's participation in this fight! If it's plausible for your character to help the water-serpent in putting this beast down, you have our full blessing!

The days that follow, and the actions you take, will decide whether Nastrandir will be saved...or whether you're willing to let it, and all the history it carries, burn in the fire.

Garren, ever helpful, claps his hands (to get Crowley's attention) and then starts gesturing in what looks to be a very.. unique form of sign language. Most of its too fast and unfamiliar to really be decoded, but there's a lot of enthusiasm, a big round sun, something walking and a few, very child like "paaa!" sounds as the tiny gloved hands mimic a burst of something.
Totally understandable, right?
A faint smile tugs at Tachibana's expression at Garren's explanation before he looks back at Crowley]]
To put it more simply, it's a power gained from the god Apollo. His domain was not only healing, but that of the sun, so sunlight is how the energy manifests.

He groans, like this is the worst thing in the world. It's not, he's just got a penchant for dramatics.]
Why's it always blasted gods these days? I've had enough of gods. Don't even know what that'd do to me, is it divine?
[Six thousand years in this form, literally uncountable time before that, but there's so many things he doesn't know about how he works, purely because there's so much in this place he never should've had to deal with.]

..hell, even after, he was sure his counterpart would have had no patience for any of the other gods there.]]
Depends on if you believe that the gods of another world still count as gods outside of those worlds.

[There's something in his voice, an undercurrent of emotion that isn't quite anger, but could be a cousin to it. Anger by way of a strange desperation. It was so much more simple, when there was one god and he knew exactly where he stood with Her.
Crowley breathes in, lets it out in a rough exhale.]
I'm a demon, for some context here, not sure if that was obvious.

That... told him pretty much nothing. Which was an odd thing to realize. Hajime had been to a world that had demons, but other than the cockroaches he could summon as a result, Tachibana hadn't actually had any interaction with anything demonic before. Even the report of an oni back in his home world turned out to be something utterly mundane when they had gone to investigate. Not even Undead in origin.
He blinks a few more times, looking utterly clueless. Even Garren tilts his head, echoing his Slammer's confusion.]]
It wasn't.

[He's... fairly certain it wouldn't completely destroy him, if only because holy water is the only thing capable of that, but he's worried it might hurt, or make things worse, or just do generally unpleasant things to his corporation.
And he's only got one.]

I can't think of anyone who'd call those gods "holy."
[[Galen sure as hell wouldn't have. Even after becoming one.
...Especially after becoming one.]]
They're more the sort of god like you'd find inhabiting a mountain -- old, powerful, and prone to whims of unthinking stupidity.
