Obligatory adorable robot log
Who: Legion and YOU + close toplevel for Shepard
What: Stupid robot shenanigans
When: Late feb – beginning of march
Where: Everywhere
Warnings: Nothing so far?
A)
(VIDEOGAMES!
Legion is now the proud owner of 1 handheld gaming console! And they’re going to play with it at every opportunity.
Perhaps you find them outside their house playing a riveting game of virtual chess. Or they’re at a table in the Denny, failing fantastically at wooing Quarians in the Fleet and Flotilla dating sim. Or they’re flopped on their back somewhere in the shade, playing pac-man while they cool off.
Perhaps you’re curious about this strange little device they seem so enthralled with. Or maybe you know exactly what it is and want a turn yourself.)
B)
(Legion’s tigerlilies have, for the most part, been lazy, unruly little shits who would rather loaf around in the sunlight around Legion’s house than associate with Legion at all.
That is, until today.
They had been attempting to work with the more amicable of their two cats, when a series of incidents resulted in the tigerlily discovering that not only was Legion capable of supporting it’s entire weight, Legion was also incredibly warm and surprisingly pleasant to cling to.
You know that thing that cats do where they sort of cling to your shoulder while you hold them? Legion is now stumbling around the islands with a cat doing just that … except the cat is a massive tiger.)
C)
(They had, for some time, been stuck with the knowledge that they were adorned with the symbol of the one who betrayed them.
Thanks to Ren, however, they’re now wearing something much more suitable.
You might catch them staring at their reflection in the mana pool. Or they’ll be walking somewhere when they pause and try to get a good look at their shoulder.
Where the N7 symbol and a bright red stripe used to be there is now a plethora of silly child drawings.
They appear to be very proud of them.)
D) Shepard only
(The best thing about having a videogame console, is now they don’t have to be super bored while they’re waiting to recharge.
It’s late, very late, later than most organics would be awake, which was their intention, which is why they’re not expecting anyone to show up while they’re playing Grim Terminus Alliance sitting next to the mana pool.
But someone is about to come ruin their solitude. Someone they’re kind of iffy about and don’t necessarily want to see.)

Oh! Is that a video game?
no subject
Yes.
no subject
[It's easier to say things like that, since Beacon, though his tone still isn't quite light.]
How many stories did it cost?
no subject
(They headtilt.)
Do you desire a turn?
no subject
[Not to mention his hands are probably too big to play a handheld effectively.]
I had only wondered if - [he remembers Chara enjoying them too, but do they even want anything from him] - well, I do have a fair amount of stories saved up. I do not mind spending some on things for other people.

A; let's pretend i know anything about chess
...You're a couple steps from losing your bishop on the left side there. I'd be a bit more cautious.
no subject
(Whether they were already aware of this or not, they don't clarify.
Either way, it's easily rectified.
It's a pretty even game, overall, which is to be expected when it's basically an A.I. playing an A.I.)
You are familiar with Chess?
(That's probably a dumb question from a Human perspective, but Legion comes from a galactic society, in which Chess is only one of many incredibly complex strategy games, and is eclipsed in popularity by several of them.)
no subject
[At least not so much that a cursory look seemed unfamiliar. It wasn't a physical board, of course, but everything else seemed the same down to the last detail.]

b.
[When he encounters Legion literally hauling one of their tigerlilies around, he probably shouldn't be surprised, but he stops dead nonetheless to stare for half a minute, maybe longer.]
...having trouble there?
no subject
Washington-Agent. It does not wish to let go.
(To punctuate this, the Tigerlily shifts a bit and clings tighter, bumping it's head against Legion's neck and face.)
(At least this Tigerlily is being friendly to them now?)
no subject
[The circumstances aren't dire, so he's allowed to joke about it. He thinks.]
Might be a visibility issue, though.
no subject
(To both. They don't seem to mind the Tigerlily doing this all that much, though they are ... very confused.)
no subject
[Maybe the little baby tigerlilies could fit on a grown man's shoulder, but the older ones? Looks like Legion might make for a popular spot.]

So the monsters here can be tamed, it seems.
no subject
Legion can't really see, and they're a bit startled when they're addressed, as can be seen in the flaring of their headflaps and the way they pause and attempt to peer around the large cat clinging to them to see who is speaking and where they are.)
"Tigerlilies" are commonly kept as pets.
no subject
I see... You'll have to forgive me my interest, it's not often that I see something like - [........] - this.
no subject
(They stop talking then, because the cat starts headbutting them in the face. They make a lot of Geth chattering noises, though.)
no subject
Have you named it anything?

D!!!!!!! VIDJA GAEM
In an effort to shake it off she gets up to do a run around the island at night. Maybe two if the dreams and nightmares and voices keep biting at her.
All of that is tossed to the wayside the moment she spots Legion sitting at the mana pool. She stops. They've been on unshaky ground for awhile. She turns then to go another way when she hears- a beep. She stops.
A beep? It's not the usual chattering Legion makes, nor is it anything she's heard from an omni-tool, and yet... it sounds technological in nature. Hesitantly she approaches, trying to get a better look at it without startling the robot.
...Which promptly flies out the window the moment she realizes that they are 1. holding a gaming console and 2. are actually playing a video game. In a flash she's there, eyes wide and voice incredulous.]
Is that a video game!?
[Her eyes are practically shining. She hasn't seen technology in so painfully long.]
no subject
And well actually she won't really get to see what's actually happening because they almost fumble and drop it into the mana pool when she speaks.)
Shepard-Commander!
(They seem quite surprised.)
throws this tag to you from the abyss I crawled into
How did you get this? When did you get this? I thought technology couldn't work here!
[Unless it has a special tattoo like she does and like she knows Legion does, but that's neither here nor there.]
no subject
(Immediately, they pull away, and try to keep her from getting at it.)
Shepard-Commander, we are technology. You are technology.
no subject
[Duh. She was so excited about it she forgot how things worked here, apparently.
When Legion pulls away she seems to come to her senses entirely, remembering where she is, who she is, and why she was originally intending to walk away. She pulls back as well, stopping herself from crowding into their space.]
So... does it have that symbol then? That mana pool symbol on it somewhere?
(no subject)
I love using canon Shepard dialogue in a tag, it feels organic
