Down in that Darkness
This log is primarily for the Shadow and Light portions of the event, for ease and convenience. Your Shadow can be either the Persona-inspired sort - a "brutal, bitterly honest recreation of a character's worst flaws, darkest fears, and deepest secrets" - or the edgier, more laughable variant. The Lights, on the other hand, will do their utmost to convince their real selves of their best qualities, no matter how little they want to hear them.
Remember that the Shadows will be present from January 21st to January 23rd, and the Lights will be present from January 25th to January 28th.
On January 25th, we will post a separate log for Rejection Rooms!

Event Timeline

They stand up, taking their hand. It probably won't take long to lead them to where they want to go - or, more accurately, to who they want to go to. ]

And it really doesn't take that long. The Hollow Knight does not especially have any reason to think they should be avoiding anyone, what with everyone's shadows seeming to be gone now. They're... well. Preoccupied would be the wrong word. They are focused, in their own way, on the world around them. Mostly this means wandering around, curious but not entirely... letting themselves be.
Their light self halts, before getting too close. They still want to do this, of course. They need to see their true self. But they look down at the little bug by their side.
...The Knight needs to be here. Though, perhaps... they should approach their true sibling alone, first? The Light Hollow Knight nods over to their true self, hoping to convey this.]

It's an easy thing, to approach them now. Once it was more difficult, tangled up in their feelings as they were, but resolution has brought them a kind of aching, quiet relief.
So they let go of the Light's hand, and dart towards their sibling with their usual quickness. Reaching up to tug at their cloak to grab their attention, to cling to their hand like it's the most natural thing in the world for them to do. ]
