It was narrow here and Shion wasn't far behind Lup, looking around them with wide eyes. They had already found fire breathing goats, anything could be here. He kept an eye on the rest of the group as well, not wanting to let anyone out of his sight in this narrow twisting canyon.

He freezes when he sees the door and looks worriedly at Lup. He knows why she looks so stricken, she was the first one to tell him the story of the door on Enso after all. He's been told it since, by others.

He reaches out to touch her arm, offering silent comfort. He makes no move to go closer to the door.

Erika, meanwhile, fully lacks the context to know what the hell this is all about. So, instead, she tries to peer at the door from where she is, squinting past Lup and Shion. "...You good? What is that?"

At Shion's touch, Lup seems to snap out of it, one startled ear twitching in his direction. Oh yeah, that's right, he probably knows what's up. She's too fucking tense with alarm and dread to say it, but she appreciates the grounding. Thanks, lil dude.

"I'm-- yeah, I'm good," she says, distantly, and does not sound particularly good. But she steps forward anyway, pressing her hand against the sigil as if to dare it to pull some shit. This is, it's gonna be bad news sooner or later? Fucking terrible news, probably. So why the hell wait.

She forgets to explain literally anything at all for all the blissfully ignorant in the group, while feeling out the magic pulsing beneath her hand.

Meanwhile, Kravitz is... distracted. He doesn't know the story with the doors- he missed that experience, thankfully, and no one is certainly lining up to talk about their trauma- but he has a specific reason to be afraid of this.

Kravitz was keeping himself at the back, using some enhanced senses to keep watch, and thankfully able to see over most of the group. Which means as soon as he sees the sigil, he knows what it is, and his hand crosses over to press his palm heavily over the back of his hand. His mark matches. The dark blue, the magic that moves underneath it, it all fits.

He doesn't really know what to say, other than to slide his eyes to Lup's, the only one he knows who's certainly seen it.

Shion nodded once at Lup and then took a deep breath, reaching out to touch the door himself with his other hand, his first does not leave Lup's arm as she made no move to shrug him off.

As he touched the door he blinked, looking between the mark on his hand and the sigil on the door. It is not the same, his is red whilst this is blue, the shapes are different but...

"It's similar... Gladio's mark is blue but a lighter blue and looks a bit like an hourglass. But the style is similar."

"Hourglass? I've got one like that, too." Erika frowns, squinting at the door. "They are similar... fuckin' weird. Any ideas on what it means?"
