Exploring Maati (closed to Connor)
Who: Shion and Connor
What: Exploring Maati, finding fire breathing goats because of course they did.
When: 28th November
Where: Maati, E3
Warnings: Nothing to start but I'll keep this updated.
The journey so far has been slow going and tough, at parts more a scramble than a walk but Shion is having fun. So far nothing has tried to kill them, though he's not letting his guard down. The island so far seems bare, no plants, not many animals that they have seen. Though it is not like Umui, not a lack of life. Just... quiet.
Shion is trying his hand at mapping. Pausing to sketch out parts of the island in his notebook. It's not great, drawing does not come naturally to him, but it's an attempt.
Finally they come to cliffs, sheer cliffs stretching upwards before them. Shion looks up and then across to Ceej.
"I don't think we are getting up there. Can you see any passable route?"

He'd somehow missed out on the memo that Maati was all cliffs, which is really more from a, uh. He's done a lot of exploring. He figured he'd let other people do their exploring, get their adventure bugs out, and whenever shit hit the fan (because shit always hit the fan) he'd end up over there probably ready to throw down with whatever god ruled here. Well, obviously only if whoever it was seemed evil. Balance was pretty nice, if infuriating to talk to.
"I don't think I can free climb it. Well. I mean, I could? But not safely."

"There might be a path though, or something that's not so steep." It doesn't look like it honestly but it's worth having a look, knowing more about the land won't hurt after all.
