there are THREE skeletons here [closed]
Who: Héctor, Papyrus, and Keith
What: Exploring F3!
When: September 11th
Where: Nuidan, F3
Warnings: None as of yet.
[This island is so much better than the last, isn't it? It's a pretty pleasant day, about as good as it can get in their situation. A nice stroll through all these fruit trees.
He's brought almost all his things with him, which... isn't much, honestly, after two months spent here. Backpack, knife, flare gun (on the off chance anything on Nuidan is dangerous), and the extra t-shirts jammed in there so it can become a pillow, if he doesn't feel like walking all the way back. Three weeks on, and he's still wearing the llama shirt. The other guys might need food or water--he doesn't and so he hasn't brought any supplies with him.
And if there's a leader in this group, it's not this guy. He's happy enough to ramble along and... ramble. (Sorry not sorry, Keith.)]

Papyrus has gained new clothes from his foray through the clothes pile and looks distinctly kitschy in a punk-goth kind of way. A jacket with spikes on it and a t-shirt with flames on it and pants that ALSO have flames on them? (His boots: are actually fairly plain and serviceable.) It's not ideal exploration wear, but he's doing totally fine and is as chipper as ever.
So chipper that he's practically skipping along, in fact. ]
Wowie, this place sure is colourful! [ Papyrus is practically burning to be busy, and this island is CATERING DIRECTLY TO HIM. ] All the seasons at once sure is great!
[ One season is great. Four is SUPER GREAT?? ]

He doesn't look like he had last time he'd been around them. He's visibly older with a scar cutting across one side of his face. Keith scans the area around them with a critical eye and relaxes a hair.] It's interesting. And with what we've seen so far I guess it makes sense. There's always some kind of work to be done in every season.

It's all very nice and pretty and not at all like the land of the dead, where no plants grow. Not like the jungle either, this is much easier to travel through.]
Yeah, and that dog doesn't have any hands. No wonder they're losing it.
[Poor little Harv.]

Dogs can do plenty of things without hands! [ Sure, dude. ] But there's only so much one person can do!! Even I, the great Papyrus, know that there's limits!!
[ Possibly from experience but LISTEN, IT'S FINE, HE NEVER SLEEPS, HE'S ALL GOOD.
He scans the horizon as he runs and is quick to spot the silhouettes of the silos looming in the distance. ]
Those look like storage! We should go see if there's anything inside!
[ Well
at least he's enthusiastic ]
no subject
Probably should keep up with him. He's...not wrong though a lot of alien species don't have hands and still get a lot done. But in this case, it might be what the god represents that helps them.
[He looks to the silos and picks up speed, putting himself into an easy jog.] Come on, let's make sure he doesn't get hurt.

[He looks right back at Keith with a sheepish, apologetic sort of grin. Oh, that wacky skeleton!!]
That guy never sleeps, I swear. He's nuts.
[And he can, apparently, die as easily as a living human. Maybe even easier. A skeleton who might turn to dust from something as simple as falling down the stairs--it's unnerving. He definitely doesn't want to see that happen to Papyrus the Great.
So he's scrambling to catch up!]
Harv's a harvest god, right. [...This would be obvious if he spoke any English.] Aliens, huh?
no subject
He does stop at the 'hey wait', though, mercifully, though he sort of bounces in place, clearly excited to go and investigate things.
He also completely missed the alien conversation so he has no idea what you two are talking about. He seems faintly worried, actually. ]
Something wrong??
no subject
[He smiles a bit to reassure him. No need to be worried, he's just making sure they complete their goals. Keith nods to Hector and looks to the distance.]
That does look like some kind of storage. Since Harv's a harvest god...what do you think could be stored in there?
no subject
Wheat? Corn? Maybe nothing, maybe we're supposed to fill it up.
[...Somehow.]
no subject
(It makes sense not to be alone, too.) ]
Looks like it's been a long while! Might not be anything left in there! Human food doesn't last as long as monster food does, right??
[ He says this like he has little idea of what an expiry date is, though...
honestly no he knows what an expiry date is he's actually halfway kidding on this one, but he says it so sincerely that it's almost impossible to tell. ]
So maybe we are supposed to fill it up!
no subject
[He motions for the group to keep going and smoothly takes the lead. If they need a shield he can be that and fend off anything nasty.]
Anyway if they need to be filled up. Whatever we need to fill it up with can't be far.
no subject
[Was this goof a farmer once?? How mysterious. He's going, he's going, he's keeping up and not stopping again.]
Let's hope not.
no subject
[ Sorry, that's about as much as you're going to get. He's never particularly bothered himself about that aspect of monster life. ]
Humans sure need to do a lot of work to keep everything running! [ As they walk and talk, they've come to the silos, and he looks up at one thoughtfully, seeing an absence of entrance and also a ladder. ] So!! How does this work??
[ He'd just...go...but he's slowing down as a courtesy. ]

...I have no idea. We moved beyond this in my time. And I was more focused on hover bikes and aircraft before I left Earth.

Looks like we'll have to ask the dog... or rig something up ourselves.
