CLOTHING ADVENTURES

Who: Anyone! Everyone!
What: Clothes were requested. Clothes are now granted.
When: morning of the 22nd initially
Where: meet me at the room that's literally filled to the brim with clothing in 15 minutes
Warnings: It's just clothes, what could possibly go wrong!
Notes: Everyone gets free clothes whether they participated in the actual request or not. CLOTHES FOR THE ENTIRE ISLAND.


There's a room in the Storyteller's temple; it was once empty, and now it's...not. It is, in fact, full of clothing of all sorts, to the point that it might be slightly difficult to find exactly what you're looking for.

Oh well. It's there now, no takebacks.

[ Way too many people around. The dress can wait.

Unless...

CT glances around the room, eyes alighting on a shadowed corner, and her smile grows. ]

Unless I stand guard for you.

[Pyrrha tracked CT's gaze across the room, over the many people, the piles of clothing, to...

Oh.]

You would really stand guard for me to change into this ugly dress, here in the temple?

[...A year ago, she might have called that downright silly.]

You're a great friend. Let's do it.

[ A year ago, CT never would have offered. Now, she looks positively thrilled when Pyrrha accepts. She grins, turning to lead the way. ]

This is gonna be amazing.

[Pyrrha hurries alongside her, the garish dress clutched to her chest. A short burst of giggles flies from her lips like an excited schoolgirl.]

It will be something, that's for sure.

[ CT doesn't giggle, but she looks about as close to it as she ever gets. She slows as she reaches the farthest corner of the room, glancing around before dragging Pyrrha behind a crumbling stone column and then positioning herself between her and the rest of the room. ]

Just make sure no one spots me. This... might be a process.

[Pyrrha's huntress outfit was a beautiful set of armor and clothing combined into a fashionable adventuring look. It was also composed of armor pieces and leather, and strings and buckles, and Pyrrha will probably need a minute or two just to get out of it all. Luckily, the area is dark enough that she feels no fear of being found... yet, at least. CT might hear her mumble,]

I should have just worn some of Nari's clothes today.

[But eventually she's out of it, and she's working herself into the Disaster Dress.]

Hmm.... almost done.

Don't worry.

[ And she keeps her word, standing vigilant with her back to Pyrrha and watching the rest of the room, alert for anyone who wanders too close or glances their way as the sound of Pyrrha's armor clinks behind her.

She tilts her head a little, ready to help if she's needed but not yet turning around. God, she can't wait to see this. ]

[Honestly, she shouldn't wear a corset everywhere anymore. Sure, it's fashionable, but it just didn't equate to beach life. And the leg guards...? Maybe she'll keep those.

There's an intense amount of ruffling sounds behind CT, and it stretches on for a while. But finally, Pyrrha will say-]

Okay, got it.

[And when CT turns around, she'll find so many ruffles, oh my god. It's like a rainbow vomited and turned that into a dress and now a tall redhead is wearing it. And, miraculously, it fits? Really well as a matter of fact.

She sways her hips from side to side, watching the ruffles move in multicolored waves, then back to CT.]

So... how does it look?

[ When Pyrrha finally calls for her to turn around, CT just looks at her for a second, looking surprised, and then awed. She'd expected it to look awful, and of course it does, but at the same time, it...doesn't look bad at all? Somehow? ]

...It looks terrible. I think my eyes are bleeding.

But you look amazing in it.

This would be an absolute nightmare to wear out on the beach though. But, maybe if there's another party... possibly indoors?

[She was hoping for something like that anyway, a perfect opportunity to relax and not deal with the stressfulness of life and death situations.]

...Oh, are you wanting this, CT?

[ CT doubletakes slightly, and then she shakes her head firmly. She'd never had any intention of keeping the dress, and she certainly wouldn't after seeing Pyrrha rocking it. ]

Oh, no. No, this one's all yours.

We'll just have to build a dance hall next.
