CLOTHING ADVENTURES

Who: Anyone! Everyone!
What: Clothes were requested. Clothes are now granted.
When: morning of the 22nd initially
Where: meet me at the room that's literally filled to the brim with clothing in 15 minutes
Warnings: It's just clothes, what could possibly go wrong!
Notes: Everyone gets free clothes whether they participated in the actual request or not. CLOTHES FOR THE ENTIRE ISLAND.

There's a room in the Storyteller's temple; it was once empty, and now it's...not. It is, in fact, full of clothing of all sorts, to the point that it might be slightly difficult to find exactly what you're looking for.

Oh well. It's there now, no takebacks.

“No.” He shakes his head. There’s no need to confirm it. “I’ve seen this place’s distortions and messing with our heads in action. I won’t help it mess with you.” Price or no. He won’t do it. He stuffs his hands into his hoodie pockets. He doesn’t look like the petulant teenager like he used to.

Now he just looks like a young soldier off duty and considering a night out. “What I do need is yours and Hunk’s help in engineering a heating system for the cottage.” He hadn’t had Ember on the island. He’d let him fly freely on Enso. He whistles and a red and orange feathered bird sails into the temple singing a sweet song. The size of a large bird of prey, the Phoenix lands on his shoulder and he barely even shifts his weight. “This is Ember. He’s a Phoenix and we shelter him at night. In turn he keeps anyone near his fire pit warm. We can safely create something to distribute his sleeping heat evenly. Right?”

She's actually a little relieved that he doesn't feel the need to do so. Of course she knew Keith wouldn't be obnoxious about it like some other people might, but it's still comforting. "Thanks." If she's honest, though, it's even a little amusing, considering the reason she was in this predicament in the first place. She'll just have to hope that nobody asks her anything terribly specific.

He does look different, though, and it's a welcome distraction. "A heating system?" That seemed pretty straightforward. "Hunk's the engineering genius, but I'll be glad to help out in any way I can." Her eyes go a bit wide at Ember's arrival, though she's more curious than afraid. "Like a straight up bursts into flame, re-emerges from his own ashes Phoenix? That's really cool!" If she didn't know Keith as well as she did, she might've wondered if he was just messing with her. But really, that's probably the coolest thing she's seen in a while. "And yea, we should be able to figure something out."

"Yeah, he bursts into flame and everything. He hasn't turned to ashes but he's not even a year old. Seems like they take centuries to hit that point. Or eons. His mother is the sun in this reality." Ember reaches over to preen his dark hair and he lets the bird do it. He rubs under his feathered friend's chin and smiles slightly at the soft croon he gets in reply.

"We can figure something out. It's getting the supplies and probably a stone floor for the cottage. I have a lot of stories saved up I could trade in for it." Anything to help out the team. "We can check out the house and get a better feel for it later. Maybe enlist some help."

"That must be wild. Does he give you any advance warning, or is it just poof?" Pidge can't really decide which she'd prefer at this point, but she's mostly curious. "Wait. The literal sun?" Because even after everything they've seen that sounds just a little wild. But Keith hardly seems like the type to go around making up stories. And even she can't deny the fact that the bird is cute.

At the subject change, she grows serious again, and she nods. "Yea, we will. We're pretty smart." That's putting it mildly, but she has faith that the two of them will be able to figure this out. "That sounds like a plan. Who do you think is most likely to want to help?"
