CLOTHING ADVENTURES
Who: Anyone! Everyone!
What: Clothes were requested. Clothes are now granted.
When: morning of the 22nd initially
Where: meet me at the room that's literally filled to the brim with clothing in 15 minutes
Warnings: It's just clothes, what could possibly go wrong!
Notes: Everyone gets free clothes whether they participated in the actual request or not. CLOTHES FOR THE ENTIRE ISLAND.
There's a room in the Storyteller's temple; it was once empty, and now it's...not. It is, in fact, full of clothing of all sorts, to the point that it might be slightly difficult to find exactly what you're looking for.
Oh well. It's there now, no takebacks.

[She's a little concerned, but also genuinely impressed.]
Wherever did the Storyteller find all this, I wonder?
no subject
Hah, I wonder if somewhere there's a store that just got robbed by a giant bunny.
no subject
Now, now- I'm certain they'd pay for the clothing they took, like a proper upstanding deity.
no subject
That's not as funny as a robber bunny. Hey, did I ever tell you dead people rob stores too?
no subject
[She sounds intrigued.]

[Tons of stuff comes back across the bridges every year... but of course he's never seen how it's done on the other side, only heard about it.]
They hire people to go around with ghost vans and raid stores, after they've visited their living family. Have to get enough stuff to last a year somehow, and nobody's going to put flour or sugar out as an offering. That's boring.
[And that's called 'baiting a spiderlady', Héctor. (He knows damn well what he's saying.)]

My my, such an interesting afterlife your people lead. Though, I can't say I'd expect no offerings of flour or sugar at all- surely my fellow bakers must have some respect for the basic staples of their craft? I certainly wouldn't call such things 'boring'.
no subject
No, no, that's disrespectful. Making your poor old ancestors walk all that way and not get something fresh and warm...
no subject
Why couldn't one do both? Leave out the finished product and the ingredients to make their own.
no subject
He shrugs, not quite able to put together any real argument. It just seems strange.]
I don't know, I guess there's no reason you shouldn't. So long as you do both, or somebody's going to be disappointed.
We can probably call this wrapped unless you want to do more with it.
