Warnings: It's just clothes, what could possibly go wrong!
Notes: Everyone gets free clothes whether they participated in the actual request or not. CLOTHES FOR THE ENTIRE ISLAND.


There's a room in the Storyteller's temple; it was once empty, and now it's...not. It is, in fact, full of clothing of all sorts, to the point that it might be slightly difficult to find exactly what you're looking for.

Oh well. It's there now, no takebacks.

[A deer made of wood? As in a sculpture, or is she trying to say it moves and- eats? Would it need to eat? Sun-light, maybe, like a planet, and water?

No. Wood's not really something you eat.

Well, some woods we eat, like cinnamon, but I don't trust moving trees to be edible. Plus, I dated someone who wound up being a tree person... so I don't want to accidentally piss her kind off by trying to take one of these deer down.

[Like it would somehow get back to that person. Not going to risk it.]

But there's plenty of other things to try and kill 'round here.

[And ever tried shoving a bunch of cinnamon in your mouth? Not exactly pleasant. At least Carolina doesn't think so. Accidentally putting too much on her oatmeal that one time was one time too many.

Where's the fun in that? The cinnamon challenge was fun back home because all them dumbasses tried to breathe in while eating all that cinnamon.

[This gal loves cinnamon to the point where Red Hots were the equivalent of marshmallows to someone else. Nari will eat a handful at a time.]

Well... she was from an advanced alien species that had the technology called 'hardlights' which let her create a solid form around her. It let her change her shape and size without compromising or damaging her original body. When I first met her face to face she was this adorable girl name Cece with purple hair, who wore a hardlight for her job because she was an Asari-crossbreed. Another weird alien species. But her actual form that she was hiding under an even more advanced hardlight was a tree person, like an Ent from Lord of the Rings.

[The cinnamon what? She's never heard of it, but considering it can't be much better than what it sounds like... People do try a lot of stupid things.

She does give a blink, one eyebrow arching slightly. That was... More than she was expecting. She's aware of aliens, although nothing like that.]

That sounds rather impressive.

[At least there will be no talks about the tide pod eating since that's from after Nari's time on Earth. That's something even she wouldn't do.]

It was. It would have been more impressive if she hadn't been trying to make us kill each other for a TV show. But such is life. At least the breakup was amicable.

Just when she thinks that she might be starting to understand things, something like that comes up.]

She gave up when she realized she couldn't break us and make us slaughter like she wanted. Plus, I think all the interference and the fact she was surrounded by cops didn't help matters.

[Flavor Jedis called the cops, but no one needs to know that.]

But yeah, I don't eat tree beings.

It's certainly not something I planned on doing either.

There's bug type things that look like they'd be good to cook up, though.

Nope. The fucks are fast and look like moss. So most of the time you don't see'em till you're on top of them.

I will do my best to catch one one day and see how it tastes if there's meat on it. I mean, what's the worst it could taste like? Kerosene?

[How do you know what kerosene tastes like.]

I mean, there are benefits to eating bugs. Not that I've gone out of my way to do so before.

It's something to consider here if you want consistent food sources.

Seems to me like you'd require a fair number of them to actual sustain you.

[Giving it a half second thought, but at the moment, Carolina isn't starving or desperate.]

Not necessarily. Those little moss fuckers are a decent size, and if you know how to make simple broths or soups, then one of them could stretch you for a few meals. Not to mention that half this place has something edible if you know how to make it, it's difficult to starve unless you're doing it on purpose.

[Carolina will say that she keeps thinking of things in terms of what she is used to, and not in terms of things here. Like giant talking creatures.]

I suppose that is at least something that is good about here.
