don't you come here and say I didn't warn you,

Who: Lillie, Luna, and Guzma [CLOSED]
What: Discussing search results, mostly.
When: July 14th
Where: Casa de Skullthugs (Islet #3, Shack #4)
Warnings: None yet!

[Living space in this particular shack is...fairly cramped, to say the least. But it's pleasant enough, given the company. Lillie finds herself seated on a blanket spread out in the sand behind the shack, watching Guzma cook. It's not the first time and she hopes it won't be the last because honestly? He's a really good cook. Especially given the circumstances and the equipment (or lack thereof).]

[Her and Luna have been chatting as they wait, Nebby seated in her lap and occasionally chiming in with its echoing trill. Catching up, explaining how things work on the island, that sort of thing. And inevitably, the topic of Umui comes up. It's the most recent thing any of them have explored. It's certainly been the big buzz locally, too.]

It was so quiet...in a kind of scary way, too. [She pulls Nebby a little closer, recalling with a shudder the unnatural silence of the rolling green hills full of their colorful flowers.] There must have been people there at some point, with all the buildings...I wonder where they all went...?

[Her biggest fear, which she staunchly refuses to mention, is that their disappearance has something to do with the needles they found. An illness or a poison, that they were not just gone but...well. Gone.]

[The beach blanket he received from the Jormun (along with several pillows) when they had their party on the island's shores, was along the best thing he could have gotten...next to that wicked body paint that glowed in the dark. He'll definitely be making a request to the Storyteller for more of that at...some point. Right now, his mind is fixated on expanding their home. He always thought others from Alola could come here, but he never expected it to be so soon. They'll need more space, another hammock, more clothes and supplies for Lillie... It's going to be a lot, and he may need to as Luna's help for the largest task of getting their house expanded. It's cramped enough as is.

He's just finishing pulling out dinner for the evening: some baked Bludroc - the island's equivalent of chickens - with vegetables. Potatoes, carrots, onions... He even bothered Muffet for a few seasonings as well. The basics - salt and pepper, really. Of course, she thrust other things into his arms, so here we are. Hopefully it turns out alright. He moves to the impressively large blanket in the sand, putting the dish in the center and asking for the girls to hand over their plates, which he fills and hands back. Thank god for asking for proper tableware...as well as kitchenware. It's been a boon to have. That, and their wood stove of course.

He sits and picks at his food, sitting away from the cluster of the two girls - they need to catch up, and he's not read to be the third wheel - but raises his head once Lillie speaks.]

No clue, though some'a them other people are doing a whole heck'uva lotta scrounging around. Clues and pieces left by them folks are popping up left and right. Some're guessing that the whole lot of 'em were sick with some...some kinda disease. Ain't been following the chatter much, m'self. [He shoves a forkful of food into his mouth, talking a bit through his chewing. Like a goddamn slob.] Been wonderin' 'bout them flowers though...they was everywhere, and I'm not so keen on them nasties after what we found out 'bout some of the ones what grow here and other places that're real bad.

[Extremely poisonous, hallucinogenic, or will straight up try to prey on your mind and body.] Recognized a few of 'em, but not all'a 'em.
