He stayed quiet, letting Ignis talk. He had a lot of concerns, and definitely didn't think Ardyn deserved Iggy, but he was reserving judgment. Nothing he would say about it would be something that Iggy wouldn't already know. He hoped. There was still a nagging fear that this was all trickery. After all, would it be beyond Ardyn to deceive people for months on end?

"I talked to Ardyn..." he finally started quietly. "Umm, a while back. I asked him 'bout the other... the MTs. He said they couldn't be saved." He kept his voice serious but steady, focusing more on fiddling with his camera than anything. "Do you think he was telling the truth?"
