"Did you see something back home that makes you think he might not be telling the truth?" Ignis' question is gentle. He realizes that Prompto has a tendency to take the words of others ahead of his own thoughts and he doesn't want the blonde doing that here. Not when he's the only one who's had close experience with this topic. They haven't talked in great deal about all the things he saw when he was separated from them, but that experience makes him more of an expert on the topic of MTs than they are.
