[Real talk-she fully expects to lose to them at a game they've played many times and whose concepts she's just starting to grasp. It's not going to bother her because their victory will be something to celebrate, but she'll practice and come at them with the force of ten thousand suns when the Time Is Right. And probably cheat her way to another point.

That's how it is.

She goes after the ball, trying to find an opening to kick it out from their path. It's harder when you can't trick someone!! Gosh!!]

[They don't stonewall her entirely, but they're not quite a person that can happily sit back and let a small child win for the heck of it. They're too competitive. So once their curiosity in how she will react runs out, they start to shift toward her side of the field in earnest.]

She tries-lord help her she tries, but that Driftybean is faster and has far more mastery in the ways of soccer and victory is theirs in the blink of an eye.

Which is to say, they scored a point, but it's far from over. Until her feet start to ache, she's going to chase after this ball. She will earn her point.
