[She starts chasing after the ball as well, trying to block its progress if the Drifter happens to knock it back.

Although, playing soccer one on one means if you've got just the one acting as forward, there's no one for defense.]

[She's trying to block them at every turn, meaning it's time to get inventive. Which they do, gladly - their blade materializing in a spurt of bright cerulean, unfurling at their side so that they can slam it into the ball with the flat of it.]
