am i more than you bargained for yet
Who: Ardyn + open
What: Fallout post-Monsun and catchall for everyone that's going to annoy the hell out of him.
When: 2/10 and onwards
Where: Islet 4, shack 1
Warnings: Ardyn being Ardyn--probably threatening but no actual physical harmyet.
[So that happened. Once Ardyn reclaimed his unfortunate shack of a living space from Xion and Shion, he all but immediately sequestered himself; Hresvelgr could still be seen wandering around on occasion, munching on the occasional plantlife without a care in the world. If Ardyn did go out himself, it was in the middle of the night well after the sun had gone down.]
[This was fine. Sure, he was absolutely livid that he'd been stuck on some miserable desert for so long. And he was utterly furious at being forced to be like that, some sentimental and revoltingly kind person too stupid to know any better. It would be a problem, dealing with Asch and everyone else foolish enough to believe in a person like that. But...well, it was easy enough to handle. He'd just have to be rid of them one way or another.]
[Easy, right?]

[If he opens the door, he'll find Muffet standing there, calmly holding a warm dish of what appears to be some kind of grilled pterax and potato casserole in one hand. Because even if you're on an otherworldly island living next to inhuman beings, offering a new neighbor a nice homecooked meal is still the proper thing to do.]
[It smells delicious, too.]
[If he chooses to ignore her entirely, she'll wait calmly for a decent amount of time and then leave the casserole dish on the front step for him, carefully covered by a cloth to prevent anything from ruining it, and continue about her own business for the day.]

[Ardyn followed with an audible sigh of annoyance, pushing the door open the rest of the way and regarding her with a frown.]
What.

[When Ardyn arrives, she straightens up and offers him the bowl with a polite smile.]
Hello, I'm given to understand that it's tradition to bring food over when someone moves into your neighborhood- or back into it, in this case. This is for you, assuming you don't mind potatoes.
[Knowing Ardyn, it's probably not the potatoes he's going to have an objection to so much as the sentiment behind it, but it seems politer to phrase it this way.]

Do you really think I'd joke about food.
