I. Snowgoons attack / Breath of cold air / Be gone snow gremlins
At the turn of the month, the weather shifted and snow covered the lands. The scenery of the landscape is an all too familiar scene that he was used to, back home in Cloud Recesses. Lan Wangji was ever alert and aware of the dangers whenever he ventured out and explore the island to become familiar with the territory, commiting himself to make out a map in his mind as resources tend to be scarce.
He has an unfortunate encounter with the Snowgoons while he was out exploring in the wild. He discovered they are hostile and territorial throwing snowballs at him or looking for a fight, which he finds it's easier to avoid by simply retreating or by the sight of his blade they sometimes retreat. A tiresome chase especially when the snow is thick and hinder his movements.
He wasn't amused being pelt by a snowball at the head, however. Not at all.
II. Mistledon't
Lan Wangji noticed the strange plant with a different variants of colored berries, though he suspected they were poisonous so he didn't go near them at first. They were growing in most places of the islands.
It’s quite possible that he got stuck under the mistletoe, but unaware of the effects it has on him as a poison. It's a matter of finding a cure while he's under the mistletoe spell.
