[Luna doesn't go far in the initial let go. Ariados had her secured, and while there was a brief jerk, it was just an inch or two Luna 'fell' before she seems to just float down slowly as the huge spider lowered her down on that thick, sturdy thread, front legs feeding out bits of the line and making sure nothing sticks to or snags on the tree. She's quite focused on her task, and Guzma waves at the spider with hand signs to keep lowers her, holding up his palm to indicate to slow the descent to a more manageable pace.
Only where the tips of the child's shoes touch the sand does Guzma throw a thumbs up to his Pokemon, who cuts the line with a snip of her fangs and scuttle down the length of the tall tree to be with her trainer (and to possibly get the web off Luna's clothing). Patting Ariados' head to praise her for a job well done, Guzma saunters over to the two pipsqueaks (literally in Mickey's case) and picks Luna right up into his arms.]
