All she had asked was for him to move a little so that she could get by, which doesn't explain his giggling in the least. It's not like she had made a joke, and she certainly hoped that she didn't come across as a joke. She might not be in her armour, but friendly, warm, and approachable are not words that one would use on the daily to describe her.
