Yes, that might be prudent. I do agree that most of the resources we can make use of are on the mainland- which is why I've been trying to cultivate a garden in and around my house here on the islets, in addition to requesting a method of purifying seawater from the Storyteller.
The islets are more removed from most of the potential threats on the mainland, but I'm concerned that we're settling the majority of our people in a remote area that only appears accessible by using the pools to travel. If they were to suddenly stop working for some reason, I want to make sure we're not trapped here without enough supplies to sustain ourselves.
