['Fun' didn't really exist for Guzma much as a child, either - only when he was actively battling or with his Pokemon. Or, after he finally ran away and found a new, better family in a bunch of unwanted brats like him, that society dictated weren't useful enough to keep happy.

All's good in moderation, yeah? Believe me, this stuff is terrible for you health-wise, but it still tastes good, which ispretty much the whole appeal.
