Honestly, Ed had thought Sans was a particularly morbid prop at first. The first time he moved in a way that wasn't an arm or leg falling loose from Wade Ed had come very close to letting out a goat-like scream on reflex, but by now Ed's somewhat used to the idea of an animate skeleton being a member of the party. A weird member that has done fuck and all to help, but at least he doesn't need to eat.

Ed glances over to Sans as he approaches, an ear flicking in irritation as a bug buzzes around his head, and shrugs before turning his attention to brushing off what he can of the remaining dirt from the tubers he'd collected the night before.
