Flame red definitely suits Jules and the Samari bloodline as they're a line of Andarian fyrebloods who also happen to carry the Stralen gene. Jules' eyes gleam the same brilliant red as the gemstone.

He's not exactly sure what the Rouzer is, but it looks close enough to a gun of some kind that he has to assume that's the basic use of it. Given they were talking about weapons before, that makes the most sense too.
