I've never regretted that I was the one chosen, you know.

[And that's...easier, gentler, less blank beneath the words; regardless of everything that happened, he genuinely does mean that much.]

I knew what the outcome would be, but I loved the world, and I fought with all I had to see my dreams for it realized. I can't possibly regret that. It was difficult, of course, but it was always an honor.

So perhaps it's unfair to ask, but try not to concern yourself too much for me.
