[Grimm reappears like something blown in from the wind. Like the nightmares that made up the God, he seeped into the dreams as easily as a jigsaw piece neatly fitting into its proper place. This world of the past within Grimm's mind was how the cycle functioned. To dream is to risk dark nightmares. To endure nightmares is to be granted sweet dreams.
Their attacks blend together, the Gods' worlds blend together. But what is missing in this picture is the Radiance herself. She stands as the sun here, bleeding light and sleeping within the Nightmare Heart.
But Grimm stands alone. There is a part of him that knows that this time is long gone. Remember dreams and nightmares, said his Light. Nightmares are here in the flesh. Dreams are not.
The God of Nightmares stands in front of the Nightmare Heart. He raises a hand and snaps his fingers, a gesture familiar as is the sound that comes next.
From the right side of the room charges a familiar wall of pure light that begins to advance to the left. As before the Knight is capable of using their Shade Cloak to safely pass through the light. Although, how strange...regardless of whether or not the Knight uses the Shade Cloak or not, the wall of light stops before it hits the left "wall" of the room, leaving a sizable, safe gap.
Why it is that way becomes apparent quickly: a wall of roaring flame appears where the wall of light disappeared and begins to advance from right to left. Jumping over it is impossible and it is up to the Knight if they take the risk of seeing if they could pass through with the Shade Cloak, if it is charged in time.
Like the wall of light, there will be a gap left to hide in once the flames reach the right wall.
Meanwhile Grimm waits, still in front of the Nightmare Heart. Waits for the Knight to come to him, enduring both walls as they pass through his form.
Even here, lost within the past and what was, he has not forgotten their determination.

Grimm has not forgotten who they are. He can't.]
