There is a difference between shunning and not agreeing with. I can accept there is darkness within me without agreeing to the foolishness that spews from its mouth.

[They are all their own worst enemies and Ignis knows that is just as true for himself as it is for Shion. He's glad when he hears his friend move closer, though, accepting his support even if he can't put his own thoughts to words yet.]

Nothing in this world is safe. That goes double for the people in it. We all make mistakes because none of us are perfect. Shion, at least, has shown willingness to learn from those mistakes no matter how hard it may be.

[Ignis turns a knowing smile in Shion's direction.]

And it is hard. Sometimes, it's even tempting to ignore the darkness instead of fighting to make things better, but in the end, we know the easy route is not the best one.
