The canyon is getting almost oppressively narrow in places, this far out from the center of the island. It feels like they're being funneled towards something and the anticipation is rising in Lup as she leads her merry gang onwards. Could be anything at the end of this? Cool loot or shitty puzzles or like, a deadly and breathtaking drop into the ocean? Or, y'know, just kind of a dead end.
She's so busy painting mental pictures of a not completely useless ass climax to this adventure that she almost misses the surface of the cliffside changing beside her. Where it was dusty rock a second ago, it's now dusty wood and rusted iron.
