Acknowledged. Such spiritual beliefs are common. Though we cannot verify them ourselves, it would be foolish to deny them.
(Gods are clearly real, so why can't the stars also be the souls of the dead.)
Regardless, we were referring to physical properties. Each star is capable of nurturing worlds.
Those worlds are referred to as "planets".
