[The kaleidoshell doesn't so much as move, but she does blink slowly as Johann approaches, lowering her head to the sand and continuing her nesting process. The hole has already been dug out by the time they arrive, and she was prepping for the actual process of laying her eggs. After a deep breath, she begins - lifting herself up slightly with each contraction and each little plink as her golf ball shaped eggs fall gently into the nest made for them. It'll be several minutes more for her to finish...she has a lot of eggs to lay, after all.

Ammy, on the other hand, both hears and scents the other dog approaching, and one eye opens and watches, ears up and pointed in the dog's general direction. Protectively, the wolf's stance changes, even as she lays - she's still, licks her lips some, and a low rumble vibrates in her chest - a soft growl of warning. She doesn't know this animal, and most of the ones that have begun to appear have been prepping for a damn good meal - a buffet of epic proportions once other turtle come to lay - so she expects the worse. She won't attack other than a threatening snap or a snarl, not unless the dog doesn't back down.

But that doesn't seem like it'll be necessary. The voice she recognizes as Magnus comes into view, and her head lifts up at last, tail wagging happily when she sees him. Ah, so this must be his dog, then. Alright, then it should be fine. Nodding her head to Johann in apology, she gets up with a stretch and shakes the sand from her fur, yawning openly and licking the dried flecks of salt from her whiskers. How long has she been napping?]
