Though he was making light jabs it never came off as anything but jovial. Since this guy didn't seem to be a threat he went ahead and got closer.

"I dunno. Other islands have appeared and disappeared. This one just appeared so it'll probably go away soon, too."

He furrowed a brow, glancing away in thought for a moment, before asking.
