Shit dude it sure can be like that. He nods and grins back, indulgent, magnanimous, absolutely not a sign anywhere on him that she's said anything remotely red flag-esque, again. Whatever the opposite of 'like that' is, Ren's been in it, and he is just, man, it's like he's a clairvoyant as well as a wizard. But only about bad shit, and only a little bit, and that's maybe the worst.

Taako picks up the pace a little, an unobtrusive shift in case Ren is gonna get spooked by the attention.
