Who: Jullien and OPEN
What: Investigating his new home
When: Around the first week of new arrivals
Where: Near the monkey nests of Enso
Warnings: Jullien's mouth?
While his last few years have been relatively safe and free of the constant paranoid and fight for life he'd dealt with for a while, being here has brought all of those survival instincts and mistrust back. Staying in one place doesn't sound like a good idea. However, having somewhere with a roof over his head is a nice commodity. He's spent enough nights out in the weather to know. That desire is what led him to keep an eye on the elevated tree houses. It doesn't look like a lot of people are coming and going from them...
Investigating a Monkey Nest
Satisfied that he's probably not going to walk in on someone's home (at least not while they're around), Jullien begins climbing his way up the tree to the middle nest. While he's trying to stay hidden, there's only so subtle you can be while swinging around a tree and physically hauling yourself onto an overhanging ledge with your feet dangling in mid-air. Not only is he rather defenseless during his ascent, he could easily make a misstep and tumble to the ground. Which would be bad. Very bad.
Preparing Defenses
Once he's sure that nobody has lived in the treehouse for a while (if ever), Jullien decides he's claiming it for himself. That means he's going to have to protect it somehow. It takes a while to come up with a good plan, but eventually he has one and begins searching for supplies. He can be found either tugging on hanging vines throughout the forest or trying to pull up large rocks. What any of those things are going to be used for (and how he can move a rock that darn big) is rather uncertain.
